The residences were secure. Number: G Nature: PI Accident Date: 16:48:22 02/25/19 Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On February 25th Terry Geel, age 63, of Ellsworth hit black ice on Route 1 and lost control, causing his blue 2002 Chevy Tracker to go off the road and roll over. 2 Law Incident Media Summary Report, by Date Page 2 of 14 Incident Report # :G Synopsis: On February 25th the operator of a black Toyota Camry hit black ice while traveling on Route 1 near the Gouldsboro Self Storage, lost control, spun and hit a snow bank. There was fuctional damage to the vehicle, and to a mailbox on Route 1 as well. There were no injuries and the vehicle was able to be driven away from the scene. Follow up with the driver, determined the crash was non reportable. The registered owner of the vehicle contacted and it was determined no further police action was necessary. 9 Law Incident Media Summary Report, by Date Page 9 of 14 Incident Report # : G Synopsis: On 3/2/19 officers from the Gouldsboro Police Department, Winter Harbor Police Department and the Maine Marine Patrol responded to a 911 abandon call on Morton Emerson Lane in Gouldsboro. Upon arrival, an officer determined there to be a domestic dispute at the residence. While attempting to make contact with one of the other parties in the home, Fred Reynolds (62) of Gouldsboro self-inflicted a gunshot wound. He was transported to Northern Light Hospital in Ellsworth. He was later pronounced deceased. The Maine Medical Examiner's office has yet to release the official cause of death. The Gouldsboro and Winter Harbor Fire Departments, Maine Marine Patrol, Winter Harbor Police Department, and Schoodic Ambulance Service assisted. An officer located the vehicle in the area after it had been towed out. There was no damage to the vehicle and no injuries, the motorist was sent on their way.
