Cavaliers of the Midwest Sunday, April 10th Bloomingdale, Illinois Judge: Debbie Kerr (Kinvaar Cavaliers, UK) I would like to extend my thanks to the show chairs and committee of the Cavaliers Of The Midwest for inviting me to judge at your show in Bloomingdale, Illinois. I had a wonderful time and thank you so much for your great hospitality and making my stay so pleasant. I was looking for a short coupled well balanced dog that was sound on the move and possessed the typical soft melting expression we all know and love. I was glad to find it in my main winners making my job very difficult for top awards. On the down side I was disappointed in some exhibits who displayed lack of neck and were stuffy around the shoulders. It so detracts from the overall picture and takes the elegant look clean away. Tails, too, were flying high on some exhibits, which also throws the balanced outline off. All dogs were presented clean and coats were in excellent condition. I thank the exhibitors for taking the time to present their charges in such lovely bloom. Temperaments were second to none and some youngsters were extremely full of themselves, which was a joy to see and provided some ringside entertainment. Finally I would like to thank the exhibitors for their sporting acceptance in my choice of main winners and also to my gate stewards for keeping the whole day smooth and running like clockwork. JUNIOR PUPPY DOG (5) 1. Chadwick Jet Setter (Eckersley) Exuberant Blenheim baby of 7 months. He was ideal for size and had a well broken coat. Sweet expression with nice large dark eye, dense nose pigment and good ear set. He had lovely angles to his shapely little body with good crested neck, short coupled frame and well let down hocks. He moved with confidence holding a level topline and good tail set; he should have a bright future. 2. Cruisin Mighty Mouse (Rackler) Lots to like in this 7 month Ruby lad. He had a lovely rich Ruby jacket and was good for size and balance. He had a soft expressive head with large dark eye, black nose pigment and good fill to foreface. His front and rear assembly were good for angulation. He had a good neck length with correct lay of shoulder and a good bend to stifle, which enabled him to move soundly around the ring. 3. Nightingale Riptide (Mulligan) Blenheim boy of 8 months built on a larger frame, he had a wealth of fluffy Puppy coat which was well broken. He possessed good balance and had decent angulation, though was slightly longer cast than 1 and 2. He has the promise of a soft masculine head. He had large dark eyes with good pigmentation, good flat topskull and correct ear set. He moved with ease around the ring holding his good topline. 4. Seraphaven Return Of The King (Gogol) Neat little tri youngster of 6 months who was very much the baby of this class. He had a short coupled body with well broken coat and possessed bright rich tan in all the correct places. He had a sweet expression with

large dark round eyes, enough fill and correct ear set. He moved happily around the ring; he just needs time to come together. SENIOR PUPPY DOG (2) 1. Valentyne The Irish Tenor (O'Brien) This Blenheim lad of 11months came into the ring and said, "Here I Am. He instantly caught my eye and I was captivated. Ideal for size, he sports a well broken jacket with rich chestnut. His coat texture was silky and he was presented in gleaming condition. His head piece is just where you would want it for age, with large dark round eye, good fill to cheeks and black nose pigment. He had the sweetest of expressions - soft, but all male. He possessed a short coupled body with lovely reach of neck, lay of shoulder, short firm loin and super rear angles, right down to his little hocks which he really kicked off with. On the move, he held a firm topline and correct tail set. His movement was quite effortless. He kept staring at me with that look that says I'm Special. I was delighted to award him RESERVE WINNERS DOG, BEST PUPPY DOG, BEST AMERICAN BRED DOG, BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR DOG, BEST BLENHEIM DOG, BEST PUPPY IN SHOW and BEST BRED BY EXHIBITOR IN SHOW. I will watch his progress, as I am sure he is destined for a very bright future. 2. Saranade Dancing In The Rain At Jobren ( Menke/Tonn/Freberg) Blenheim boy of a slightly larger build. He was well broken and had a coat of lovely soft silky texture. He was nicely balanced and sported good angles fore and aft. He had a good head with dark eyes and black nose pigment, correct ear set and good flat topskull. His body was in good firm condition and short coupled. He had a lovely deep chest and spring of rib. He was sound on the move as he held a good topline and showed good reach and drive. GRADUATE PUPPY DOG (2) 1. Rockcreek Mark Me First at Hiflt (Parris/Steagall) Ultra short Blenheim lad of 17 months, he was dripping is a rich chestnut jacket, which was in fabulous condition. He had a lovely headpiece with large dark eyes and dense nose pigment, a well cushioned foreface and correct ear set. His front and rear angles were spot on with good arched neck and a strong well angulated rear. He moved with drive and proud head carriage. Unfortunately today, he flew his tail which detracted from his overall good balance. Such a shame. 2. Blue day Mr Wonderful (Gross) Well broken Blenheim who was slightly longer cast than the winner. Good head with dark round eye, black nose pigment, good fill to fore face and correct bite. He had a good length of neck, with good shoulder lay, and decent turn of stifle. He moved soundly and kept a level topline. Again, this boy was too keen to use his tail today. BRED BY EXHIBITOR DOG (3) 1. CH Nightingale The Eyes Have It, JW ( Mulligan/Duke) Ideal for size and spot on for shape. This little full coated Blenheim caught my eye on the first go round. He is short coupled with a lovely reach of neck, shoulder lay, firm body, deep chest and spring of rib.

He has a lovely sculpted head with dark eye, dense nose pigment, good fill to cheeks and correct ear set. On the move he was most bothered by his rear. He kept sitting down, but I seen and felt enough to appreciate his soundness. He was one I considered for higher honours. 2. Clarmarian Classic By Design (Young-May) Again, a good short coupled Blenheim lad who was sporting a well broken full jacket. He possessed a good head with dark eyes (which I would have liked a tad bigger), dark nose pigment, correct bite and well cushioned foreface. He had good angles throughout with nice length of neck correct, shoulder assembly and good turn of stifle. On the move, he maintained his topline and had a good tail carriage. 3. CH Foxcreek Hear Me Roar (Johnson) Another lovely Blenheim lad in a well broken full jacket. In profile, he was slightly longer cast than 1 and 2. Lovely sculpted headpiece with big dark round eye, dark nose pigment, good fill to foreface, flat top skull, and good ear placement. He had a good arch of neck and correct shoulder lay. He had a very positive hind action which helped maintain his good topline and tail set. JUNIOR AMERICAN BRED DOG (1) 1. Brookhaven Here Comes Hogan (Ayers/Martz) Smart little well broken Blenheim built on good clean lines which made for a good outlined profile. He had a soft sweet expression borne from large dark eyes, black nose pigment, good cushioning, flat topskull and correctly placed ears. He is short coupled with correct angulation both fore and aft, lovely neck and bend to stifle. He is balanced and, hence, moves out well with good reach and drive. Again, he is one I considered for higher honours. He just needs a few months coat growth to complete the picture. AMERICAN BRED DOG (3) 1. Veribas Eye Of The Tiger (Cusik) Lots to like in this glamorous well broken Blenheim dog. He is short coupled with lovely angles throughout. He has a deep chest with good spring of rib, firm loin and perfect tail set. His head is his crowning glory with huge dark round eyes, black nose pigment, good cushioning to foreface, correct tapered muzzle, flat topskull, and huge thick well placed ears. On the move he kept a level topline and had great drive from his short hocks. I just wish he was carrying a pound or two less, as he appeared heavy set over his shoulders. 2. Forestcreek Heart Of Rock N Roll, JW (Painter/Cline) Heavier marked Blenheim male who was presented in full rich jacket. He cuts a lovely picture in profile as he is short coupled with lovely neck. His head is sculpted and he had a soft expression with large dark round eyes, black nose pigment, good cushioning, and well set ears. He felt good on the table as everything just slotted together, and he had good muscle tone. He moved out positively with great reach and drive. Unfortunately, he was rather proud of his tail today. 3. Hiddencreek Mason (Green) Well broken, richly coloured Blenheim male. Soft full masculine head with large dark eyes, black nose, well cushioned cheeks, flat topskull, and beautiful full well placed ears. He is slightly longer cast than my 1 and 2, but possesses

good angles throughout. On the move, he maintains a level topline and tail set. I preferred the rear action on the others in his class. SPECIAL LIMIT BLENHEIM DOG (3) 1. Avia Make It Work (Poti) Neat little well broken Blenheim with coat of lovely texture. He is short coupled with lovely neck and shoulders, short back, and well angulated rear. His head is pretty with large dark eyes and dense nose pigment, flat topskull and correctly set ears. To be critical, I would prefer more fill in his fore face. That being said, he won this class on his great style and balance. He flowed around the ring with great reach and drive. 2. Mimric Moves Like Jagger, JW (Painter/Hodges) Another Blenheim, this male being heavier marked. He, too, was short coupled and of ideal size. He had a beautiful head with a soft melting expression. His eyes were large, round, and dark, with dense nose pigment and good cushioning to foreface. His movement was fluent and he maintained a good topline going round. I just preferred the neck and shoulders on #1. 3. Clarmarian Covertly Wicked (Gogol /Young -May) Well broken longer cast Blenheim male sporting a richly coloured jacket. He had a soft masculine head with large dark eyes, dense nose pigment, good fill, and well set ears. He was mature in body with a deep chest and good spring of rib. He had ample neck, well laid shoulders and good rear angulation. He moved well, maintaining a good topline and he carried his tail correctly. SPECIAL LIMIT TRICOLOR DOG (2) 1. Chadwick Cheers At Hudsonview (Glynn) Heavier marked Tri male with white collar. He is of ideal size and well balanced throughout. He has a sweet expression with large, dark eyes and jet black nose pigment with vibrant rich tan enhancing his softness. He had a well cushioned muzzle and correctly placed ears. His front and rear assembly were impressive, and he flowed around the ring keeping a level topline and had a perfectly set tail. 2. Mysticknight Jack Pot (Hassig) A heavier set well broken Tri male. He was nicely coupled with adequate neck, short body and good rear angulation. He had a good head with a kind dark eye, well tapered muzzle, correct topskull and well placed ears. He moved steadily around the ring, though did not possess the reach and drive of #1. SPECIAL LIMIT RUBY (2) 1. Mysticknight Sorcerers Apprentice (Tonn) Mature Ruby boy with a full richly coloured jacket. He was well balanced and was correctly angulated both fore and aft. He had a soft masculine head with beautiful large dark eyes. Nose pigment could have been darker. He had good fill to foreface and well set ears. He was short coupled with adequate angles throughout. He had a very good tail set. He moved positively round the ring maintaining good topline. BEST RUBY DOG 2. Mysticknight Orbiting Comet ( Brandvold ) Smaller ultra short little Ruby in good jacket of rich colour. He had a sweet head with huge dark round eyes, black nose pigment and well set ears. I would have preferred more height to his foreface to balance

his muzzle out more. He was very short in body, in fact too short, if there is such a thing, and this hampered his movement. He had a happy disposition and was at one with his handler. SPECIAL LIMIT BLACK-AND-TAN (1) 1. Cruisin Mickey Mouse (Rackler ) Upstanding Black and Tan male who draws you on entering the ring. He has a lovely raven black jacket in excellent condition, with rich bright tan points. He had a lovely masculine head with soft expression, and he possessed large dark melting eyes. He was a shade bigger than I like, but had good angles to both front and rear. On the move, this lad held a spirit level topline and had great reach and drive. BEST BLACK-AND-TAN DOG OPEN DOG (3) 1. Eng. Ch. Franco I Believe (Gentle/Searle) Well broken, mature tri colour in full jacket, put down in lovely condition. I have admired this male from ringside often, and it was with great pleasure I got my hands on him. He has the softest of heads with large dark round eyes, dense nose pigment, a well cushioned foreface, lovely flat topskull, and well set on ears. To appreciate this boy, you need to run your hands over him as everything fits so well together, from his shapely neck, correct shoulders, deep chest and well sprung ribs, to his firm short coupled loin, well turned stifle, and short let down hocks. On the move, once settled, he was positive and strong in rear, and at 6 yrs old looked every inch the Champion he is. I was delighted to award him WINNERS DOG, RESERVE BEST IN SHOW, BEST OPPOSITE SEX, BEST TRICOLOR DOG and BEST TRICOLOR IN SHOW. 2. Chewcreek Red Solo Cup, JW (DePhilip) Another well broken glamorous coated tri, this time built on much smaller lines. He was short coupled and good in profile. He had a very sweet head with good clarity. He possessed a large dark eye dense, nose pigment, and good fill to his foreface. His ears were full and correctly placed. He had good neck with correct shoulder lay, a short firm body and nicely angulated rear. He moved well, holding a level topline, though he was slightly close behind on the go round. 3. Covington Kilgharrah At Riverview (Barrois ) Mature Blenheim male of a good honest type. He was well broken and in good jacket. He had a soft masculine head with large dark eyes, good nose pigment and correctly tapered muzzle, good flat topskull, and correctly placed ears. He was slightly longer cast that #1and #2, but had good decent angulation throughout. He moved positively around the ring. JUNIOR PUPPY BITCH (2) 1. Chadwick Sentimental Journey ( Eckersley) Feminine 7 month old Blenheim, sister to my Junior Puppy Dog. She is well broken and already sporting good length of coat. Her

head is gorgeous with large, dark, limpid eyes, black nose, good fill to cheek and correctly tapered muzzle. Her ears were correctly set on with a good flat topskull. She was balanced with nice arch to neck, well laid shoulders, good deep chest, firm body and a well angulated rear. On the move, she had great reach and drive and maintained a level topline with correct tail carriage. This little girl should have a bright future. I m delighted to award her BEST PUPPY BITCH. 2. Chew Creek Devil May Care (DePhilip) Black and Tan baby of nearly 7 months, with the promise of a long raven black jacket. She had a sweet head with large dark eyes and rich bright tans, just needing a little more cushioning at present, which I'm sure will come with maturity. She had good angles fore and aft, with nice neck and well turned stifle, she moved positively around the ring. SENIOR PUPPY BITCH (2) 1. Saranade Royal Razzle Dazzle At Jobren (Menke/Tonn/Freberg) Well broken Tri colour of 10 months whose coat was gleaming and of the finest texture. Her head was well cushioned with sweet, expressive, dark eyes, rich bright tans, correct muzzle, good flat topskull and good ear set. She had good angles all through with a particularly lovely crested neck and correct shoulder lay. She was short coupled and presented a super outline. On the move she was sound and covered the ground beautifully. 2. Redbud Lilo &Stitch (Rackler /Scott) Another well broken tri colour in good coat and condition. Sweet expressive head with dark eye, good nose pigment, nice cushioned foreface and bright rich tans. She, too, was short coupled with decent angles throughout. She moved positively. I just preferred the overall structure and balance on #1. GRADUATE PUPPY BITCH (4) 1. Blueday Last Flight Home (Gross) Richly Marked Blenheim with ample coat of lovely texture. Sweet expression with huge, dark, round eyes, blackest of nose pigment and nicely cushioned foreface. She had a good flat topskull with correct ear placement. Her angulation was good with nice neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest, firm loin and good bend to stifle. Her movement was sound and she had good reach and drive. 2. Harana Calypso Rose Of Sumara (Gentil) 16 month old Ruby in good coat of the richest dark colour. Sweet head with large dark eyes, black nose, and nice cushioning. She had well placed full ears and a good flat topskull. She was slightly longer cast, but possessed good angulation to front and rear. She moved soundly covering the ground well, maintaining a spirit level topline and good tail carriage. BEST RUBY BITCH and BEST RUBY IN SHOW. 3. Nightingale Voodoo Queen Of Riverview (Barrios) Neat, well broken Blenheim girl who presented a shapely outline. She had a feminine head with sweet, expressive, dark eyes, good nose pigment and ample cushioning to foreface. She was short coupled and had good angles fore and aft, with deep chest and good spring of rib. She moved soundly and happily around the ring, just wish she had more coat to complete the picture. 4. Treygens Simply The Best (Thorp) Larger framed well broken tri bitch in good coat. She had a sweet expression with good clarity, bright tan, dark eye, good ear set and flat

topskull. She was made well throughout and was short coupled with good neck and shoulders firm straight back and well angulated rear. She moved soundly around though she was a little close in rear. She was slightly fine for bone and could benefit from more fill to foreface. NOVICE BITCH (1) 1. Cruisin On Pixie Dust ( Rackler ) Petite Black-and-Tan girl with good coat of correct texture. Her head was feminine, housing big dark eyes and lovely bright tans. She had a good ear set and flat topskull. Her muzzle was slightly underdeveloped for my liking. She was short coupled and had good angles fore and aft. She was very exuberant on the move, which posed a problem for me in assessing her true action. BRED BY EXHIBITOR BITCH (3) This was a lovely class of Quality girls. 1. Ch Brookhaven I'm No Angel, JW (Ayres/ Martz) Such a feminine, neat, shapely little Blenheim who had the attitude to match. She had the prettiest of heads, so balanced in its properties, with huge dark limpid eyes, dense black nose pigment, good cushioning to foreface, correctly placed on ears and good flat topskull. Her balance and shape were perfect. Her profile commanding a second look. She had a lovely crested neck, correct shoulder lay, short coupled frame with excellent rear angulation and correct tail set. On the move this little girl really came alive as she flowed around the ring with super reach and drive. I was delighted to award her RESERVE WINNERS BITCH and BEST BRED BY EXHIBITORS BITCH. 2. Ch Linrica Moonwalk, JW (Liu) Another short coupled lovely Blenheim Bitch in wonderful full coat. Her head was soft and feminine with dark eye and good pigmentation. She had good cushioning and full well set on ears. Her angulation was lovely too, with good neck, correct shoulder lay, deep chest, good rib, firm back and correctly sculpted stifle. She also moved well, maintaining a good topline with correct tail set and carriage. Just preferred the legnth of neck on #1. 3. Ch Rockcreek Cowgirls Don't Cry (Steagall) Another quality well broken Blenheim bitch in full coat. She was slightly longer cast than #1 and #2. She had the most gorgeous feminine headpiece with such a soft expression. Her eyes were like dark pools. She had good nose pigmentation, well cushioned fill to fore face and good flat topskull framed by the fullest, thickest well set on ears. She had good angulation both fore and aft with a deep chest and great spring of rib. I felt she was a fraction heavy over her shoulders today which gave her the impression of a shorter neck. She moved soundly, but was less animated than #1 and #2. JUNIOR AMERICAN BRED BITCH (6) 1. Linrica Mimosa (Liu) Glamorous richly marked Blenheim bitch, put down in beautiful condition. Her head was nicely balanced with large dark eyes, dense nose pigment, correct tapered muzzle, well set ears and flat topskull. She was short coupled with lovely front and rear angulation. She was in good firm muscled condition. She covered the

ground with great soundness, her topline and tail set flawless. She displayed a happy willing to please attitude. 2. Rosearbor Bijou (Eckersley) I liked this ultra feminine Black-and-Tan bitch. Her head was so sweet, with lovely soft expression enhanced with bright rich tans. She had large dark eyes, dense nose pigment, good fill to fore face, correct muzzle length, nice flat topskull and correctly set ears. She was short coupled and had super angulation to front and rear. I particularly liked her for balance as she displayed the perfect ratio to me. On the move she was free and had great reach and drive. I d say given maturity, this little girl will trouble the best. 3. Nightingale Sloe Gin Fizz At Hollytree, JW (Seymour) Profusely coated, well broken, small Blenheim bitch. She had a lovely head with huge big dark eyes, black nose and well cushioned fore face. She was ultra short coupled with deep chest and well sprung rib. Her rear angles were nicely sculpted. She moved soundly and happily around the ring. Could do with losing a wee pound or two to sharpen her outline. 4. Seraphaven Cupids Crush (Gogol) Well broken, richly marked Blenheim bitch who was short coupled in profile. She had a nicely sculpted head with soft expressive, large, dark eyes, dense nose pigment, well cushioned foreface and correctly set ears. She had a good neck and shoulder lay, firm loin and nicely bent stifles. I felt her elbows could have been tighter and this was apparent in her front action coming toward me. She had good rear drive making up for this. AMERICAN BRED BITCH 1. Chadwick Drama, JW (Hoehn/Eckersley) I really loved this neat, feminine, pretty little Blenheim as soon as she entered the ring. Her head was gorgeous with large dark eyes, dense nose pigment, lovely cushioning to foreface and high correctly set ears. She had a cracking profile on the stack as everything was flowing together and on the table she felt good under hand, from her well crested neck to her short let down hocks, everything connected. When this bitch moved she drew me further in, her movement was quite flawless. She had super reach and drive. I really did consider her for top honours, but in the challenge she quite simply said, I ain't doing this no more, and she completely shut off...such a pity. 2. Hiddencreek Butterscotch Schnapps (Parente/Green) Heavier marked, short coupled Blenheim bitch. She was good for size and possessed a balanced outline. She had a feminine soft expressive head with large, big, dark eyes, dense nose pigment, nicely cushioned fore face and good ear set. Her angles both fore and aft were impressive with good neck, correct shoulder lay, firm back, well turned stifle and correctly set on tail. She moved out positively keeping her good topline and had perfect tail carriage. 3. Closeburn Bonny Baronet (Fairchild) Well broken, richly marked Blenheim bitch who was slightly longer cast than #1 and #2. She had a good head, with large dark eye, dense nose pigment and tapered muzzle. She had correctly set on ears, but was reluctant to use them. She had decent angles all through, with good front and rear assembly. On the move, she was a bit skittish today, but she maintained her topline and carried her tail well.

4. Huntcrest Wanna Have Fun (Pope) A good, decent, well broken Blenheim bitch who had a nicely balanced profile. Her head was soft and feminine with large dark eye, good black nose pigment, tapered muzzle and correct ear set. However, I felt she could have benefited from slightly more fill to her fore face. Her angles were good with nice crested neck, good shoulder lay, firm back and well turned stifle. She moved positively, though a wee bit close behind. SPECIAL LIMIT BLENHEIM BITCH (3) 1. Seraphaven Put a Spell On You (Gogol) Well broken, fully coated, richly marked Blenheim bitch. She had a lovely head with large dark eyes, black nose, nicely cushioned fore face and thick well set on ears. She was short coupled and had a lovely neck and shoulder assembly, deep chest and good spring of rib. Her back was level and firm and she had good angulated stifles and correctly set on tail. Her movement was positive with lovely reach and drive and she held her good topline beautifully. 2. Nightingale Bewitching (Mulligan) Short coupled, small, neat Blenheim in a heavier marked jacket. She had a nice feminine head with pretty, large, expressive eyes and dense nose pigment, good cushioning and well set ears. She is small in stature but has great bone with a deep chest, well sprung rib, firm little loin and well turned stifle. She moved positively with good drive from her little let down hocks. I would just like to see a bit more leg length on her to balance her out. 3. Inez whispered Wishes At Jobren (Menke/Tonn) Well broken Blenheim girl who was slightly longer cast that #1 and #2. She had a good head with nice big dark eyes and nose, good cushioning, with correctly set ears. I would have liked a tighter lip margin on her. She had a good front with nice neck and shoulder lay, firm back and good tail set. Her stifle could have had better angulation and this was evident as she stood and moved as she was higher in rear. SPECIAL LIMIT TRICOLOR BITCH (4) 1. Angel's Pride Pippa, JW (Green). Heavily Marked tri girl in a long silky jacket. She possessed the most beautiful head piece with a soft feminine expression, she had huge limpid eyes, the blackest of noses, lovely cushioning to fore face, lovely full ears, correctly set on ears, all set off with the richest of tan points which enhanced her softness. She was longer cast, but had good front and rear angles, with nice neck and shoulder placement, deep chest, firm loin and well turned stifle. She moved freely around the ring keeping a good topline. 2. Closeburn Bonny Wee Kilt ( Fairchild ) Well broken shorter coupled tricolour bitch. She had a good head with large dark eyes, a good blaze, rich bright tan points, well cushioned fore face and correct ear set. Her angulation was good throughout with crested neck, short firm back, good rear bend to stifle and correct tail set. She moved soundly around the ring in total tune with her handler. She s a very happy enthusiastic show girl. I just preferred the head portions on #1.

3. Huntcrest Fun Fun Fun (Pope) Another well broken short coupled tri colour, this time of a larger frame. She had a nice head with correctly placed tan points, large eyes, tapered muzzle, flat topskull and well set ears. For me, I would have liked more cushioning and fill. Her structure was lovely with a beautiful crested neck, correct shoulder placement, short firm body and nicely angled rear. She moved out soundly with good reach in front. 4. Veribas A look To Remember (Cusik) Short coupled, well broken Tricolour bitch in good coat. She had a pretty head with large dark eyes, black nose pigment, nice cushioning to fore face and thick well set on ears. She had a mature body with a deep chest and good spring of rib. She was carrying a pound or two too much, which made her appear stuffy. On the move, she was a wee bit lack luster and never displayed her reach and drive, which I'm certain she has. SPECIAL LIMIT BLACK-AND-TAN BITCH (1) 1. Iloo Dite Ilan Du Jardin De Claire Of Sumara, JW (Gentil) Ultra feminine short coupled Black-&-Tan in lovely raven black jacket. She had the prettiest of heads with huge dark round eyes, correct tapered muzzle, lovely cushioning to fore face, correctly set on ears and flat topskull. Her rich tan points enhanced her soft sweet expression. She had good angulation with a nice clean neck leading into well laid shoulders, good deep chest, nice spring of rib, short firm back and good rear angulation. On the move she was fluent and covered the ground with ease. One I liked a lot...happy to award her BEST BLACK AND TAN BITCH & BEST BLACK-AND-TAN IN SHOW. OPEN BITCH (3) 1. Ch Carmas Penne Pasta At Crizwood (Moulton/ Wornall) When this glamorous full coated well broken Blenheim came into the ring I thought, Here she is. She is so elegant, pretty, sound and charismatic that she cannot fail to draw you in. She possessed one of the best heads I have seen, which was ultra feminine with the softest of expressions. She had glorious large limpid eyes, darkest of noses, just the right amount of cushioning to fore face, all framed with the fullest thickest of ears. Her body was mature with deep chest and great spring of rib. She had a lovely neck which sat perfectly on well laid shoulders, firm back, well turned stifles and correct tail set. On the move this bitch pulled out all the stops. She floated around the ring covering the ground with ease. She had tremendous reach and strong drive. She maintained her level topline at all times. I was more than happy to award this beautiful bitch WINNERS BITCH, BEST IN SHOW, BEST AMERICAN BRED BITCH, BEST AMERICAN BRED IN SHOW, BEST BLENHEIM BITCH, BEST BLENHEIM IN SHOW. 2. She had the most lovely head piece, so hard to achieve in this colour, with large dark round eyes, good cushioning to fore face, correct length of muzzle, correctly set ears and good flat topskull. Her expression was soft and beguiling, set of with lovely rich tans. Her body was short coupled with good

angles throughout, and she was perfect for size and substance. She moved out strongly with reach and drive holding a level topline, a worthy champion, but today she was a little proud of her tail. BEST TRICOLOR BITCH 3. Ch Kalais Never Too Late To Party (Hess) Another Champion, this time sporting a raven black jacket. She had a pretty head with large dark eyes, black nose, well cushioned fore face and correctly set on ears. She was sound in construction with good angles fore and aft. She had a lovely neck set into well laid shoulders, and a short coupled body with nicely turned stifles. She, too, covered the ground with ease, with good reach and drive. Unfortunately for her, she had left her clothes in the wardrobe today. VETERAN BITCH 1. Avia Referees Call ( Marler ) I just love judging these classes, as it always brings a lump to my throat. This little 12 year old Blenheim did just that. She stood alone but was worthy of her First Place. She was well broken and short coupled. She had massive big dark eyes and still good dark colour to her nose. She had a correct tapered muzzle, well set on ears and flat topskull. She had good angulation both fore and aft with an elegant neck and well turned stifle. She happily went round the ring wagging her tail and in total sync with her adoring handler. I was happy to award her BEST VETERAN BITCH & BEST VETERAN IN SHOW.
