He wanted to build a windmill which would supply electric power, light and warm the stalls in winter, do many of the animal s jobs for them, decrease the labor and shorten the work week.

Possible Responses: he was jealous, he wanted to destroy them so the windmill could never be built, he wanted the animals to support him, he didn t like not being the powerful and popular leader, etc 5. What happened to Jessie and Bluebell's puppies Napoleon had raised them to be vicious, violent dogs who would do his every bidding.

10 6. What happened to Snowball? Why? The dogs chased him off of the farm because Napoleon wanted to be the sole pig in power; he threatened Napoleon s power. 7. Possible Responses: He knew it was good idea that the animals supported; he believed it would make the farm more profitable; he knew that it was popular with the animals so it would therefore increase his popularity. 10.What does Squealer tell the animals will happen if they do not do what Napoleon wants? He said Jones would come back. 11. Napoleon is now using fear to get what he wants from the animals. Give 1 example of how. 13 Napoleon announced that the animals would now have to work on 1) Sunday or risk having their 2) rations reduced.
