1 The Australian Shepherd Club of BC presents 2 All Breed Stockdog Trials (ASCA Arena Trials) Trials will be held at: Downriver Farm, Laidlaw BC McKay Rd, Laidlaw, BC V0X 1L0 (about 80 miles east of Vancouver, BC) Stockdog Judges: Ken Lyle (Oregon) and Joan Carrillo (Oregon) Each Trial: Course B 16 runs cattle each day (3 head per run) 20 runs ducks each day (5 head per run) 30 runs sheep each day (5 per run) Divisions: Started Open Advanced Junior Handler Novice Handler Entries Open: June 1 st, 2011 Pre-Entries Close: June 30 th, 2011

Bitches in season will run in the drawn order. Entry Fees Pre Entry Day of Trial Ducks $35.00 $45.00 Sheep $40.00 $50.00 Cattle $45.00 $55.00 Junior Handler Division: Half Price General Entry Information: No entry postmarked before June 1 st, 2011 will be accepted. Pre-entries must be post marked no later than June 30 th, Day of show entry fees will be applied to entries received after that date. Entries will be accepted as described in the ASCA rules. A waiting list will be maintained for each class of stock if entries exceed the available number of runs. If an owner pulls an entry and that space is filled from the waiting list, a refund shall be made. No entries may be substituted except in accordance with ASCA rules. Stockdog rules and trialing guidelines may be obtained from ASCA, 6091 E State Hwy 21, Bryan TX , and may also be viewed on the ASCA website: Note: In order to have a ASCA qualifying legs tracked and to receive ASCA title certificates, each non- ASCA-registered dog will be required to have an ASCA Tracking number. For Tracking Number and Service Membership Application, see ASCA website: About Downriver Farm: Downriver is a working sheep farm. There are no electrical hookups and no cover in case of inclement weather. Camping may be available on site, please check with Course Director. There are some very nice campgrounds very close to the trial site. Please check out Downriver s web site for what is available in the local area. FOOD: There will be a concession on site this year providing casual lunch fair. CASH ONLY There will be no breakfast item available. Saturday Night BBQ: Sign up for the Saturday Night BBQ see sign up sheet, make sure you include with your entry fees. $15.00 per person, delicious BBQ prepared with love by the Stockdog Boys Directions to trial site: Laidlaw is near Hope, on the Trans Canada Highway, about a 45minute drive east from the Sumas Border Crossing. Westbound on Hwy#1: Take exit 160 Laidlaw Hunter Creek Rest Area. Go under the highway to the 2 nd stop sign and turn right. You are now going parallel to the highway heading towards Chilliwack (west). Go ~ 4km. Turn left at Mckay Road. First driveway on the right. Eastbound on Hwy#1: Take exit #153 Jones Lake, Laidlaw.
