With Companion Care you are assured the same quality, integrity, and choice we ve offered families of the Greater Cincinnati area for over 175 years. Our mission is simple, To provide dignified and affordable pet cremation services to the families of the Greater Cincinnati area. Pets are, after all, part of the family and for some, the only family members. This Price List outlines the services and merchandise that we can provide to you, along with our current prices. We base our fees on the weight of your pet. Private Your pet is the only pet in the crematory during the cremation process. Your pet is returned to you in the urn you selected. Individual Your pet is in the crematory with other pets, however, each pet is kept distinctly separate throughout the cremation process. Your pet is returned to you in the urn you selected. Communal Your pet is grouped in the crematory with other pets throughout the cremation process. Your pet will NOT be returned and scattered at our Living Garden. 10 At Companion Care Pet Cremation by Tufts Schildmeyer, we operate our own state of the art cremation facility that is impeccably clean and secure. We are licensed and regulated by the State of Ohio, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), Cremation Association of North America (CANA), and the Ohio State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. Many other funeral Homes in our general service area sub-contract their cremation services to non-regulated, non-licensed and non-certified crematories that operate within the confines of concrete fabrication factories or in warehouses, garages, or cemeteries. Companion Care Pet Cremation by Tufts Schildmeyer adheres to strict standards such as the Cremation Code of Ethics by CANA, Certified Operators, Licensed Personnel, and the encouragement of a family s personal inspection. We are the first to offer special pet witnessing in our crematory that allow family members to be present at the start of the cremation process. We follow a strict tracking system that ensures each cremation is done without errors. We constantly monitor our tracking system and continue to maintain an A plus rating.
