It was suggested that the village would be enhanced if wild flower seed was sown on some of the verges around the village. KM to give a proposal. Opening the Harpers Brook bank from Grafton Road through to Church Walk was discussed. Clerk to establish if that is possible with Anglia water/environment agency. Clerk to contact e-on to establish if they will quote and undertake the work. The kissing gate on the east side of the meadow needs to have some hardcore due to the level of water retention. Proposed by JS seconded MS for and 2 against. Clerk to Post Office (closure) It has been confirmed that the current owner is giving up the post office if no one can be found to take it on. The Clerk to look into community funding It was agreed that the village should have some litter picks and hoops. It was agreed to give a 100:00 budget to purchase the equipment.
