Closing date 12:00 NOON PST, Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Trial Secretary s address, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled, or substituted. 2. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, telegraphed, or telephoned entries cannot be accepted. 3. Entrants are responsible for errors on or in their entries. 4. Entries will not be refunded in the event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date, nor in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of the show committee or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to incorrect entry. 5. Changes or additional information cannot be made or submitted by telephone. Such information must be received in writing prior to the closing of entries as published in the Premium List. 6. NO entry will be refunded if the show cannot open or be completed due to riots, civil unrest, fire, weather, public emergency, Acts of God, act of public enemies including terrorism domestic or international, strikes, work stoppages, or any cause whatsoever beyond the control of the club, show committee, or show chairman. 7. Returned checks DO NOT constitute a valid entry fee. The club treasurer will add a collection fee of $25.00 to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor may result in the exhibitor being placed on a cash only basis. 8. Refunds for cancellations made prior to the closing date will be made after the show is completed. 9. Mail entries and fees (U. S. funds ONLY), with checks made payable to: Vegas Valley Dog Obedience Club, c/o Carol Hudd, 5555 El Camino Road, Las Vegas, NV Recording fees paid AKC: $3.00 Event Service Fee, $.50 AKC Recording Fee, $3.00 Rally Recording Fee. Judging: 1. This show will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. each day. 2. Dogs must be ready for judging. NO provisions will be made for notifying exhibitors or their agents of class judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. 3. Dogs need be at the show only at scheduled judging times and may leave immediately thereafter unless required for further judging. Rules and Regulations: 1. Set-ups in designated areas ONLY. The show site is an open area. There will be no tenting provided. Bring shade for your dogs. 2. CANNOT USE 20 X 10 FT. TENTS UNLESS THEY ARE FIRE RETARDANT. 3. ALL dogs must be on-leash, or kenneled in crates or exercise pens except when being judged. Owners and exhibitors are responsible to make sure that their dogs do not cause a disturbance by nuisance barking or whining. A TRIAL COMMITTEE WILL BE CALLED ON ANYONE NOT CLEANING UP AFTER THEIR DOG. 4. The Vegas Valley Dog Obedience Club or Carol Hudd, will not be held liable for any loss, damages, or injuries sustained by any exhibitors, handlers, or any of their property, minor children, and dogs WHATSOEVER and from any cause. 5. These trials will be governed by the Rules and Regulations of the AKC. Exhibitors accept full responsibility to familiarize themselves with and abide by these rules. Exhibitors also agree to abide by the rules listed on the back of the entry forms. 6. Only entered dogs allowed at this show. 7. Move-ups for both Obedience and Rally will be taken in accordance with AKC s Regulations. 8. The club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. 9. All prizes must be claimed the day of the show None will be mailed. 10. A Dark Green Qualifying Ribbon will be awarded to each dog attaining a Qualifying Score. NO SMOKING IN TENTS!

5 RESERVED OVERNIGHT PARKING Reservations are required. * Parking will be on a first-come basis. Those wishing to park together must arrive together. There will be no saving of spaces. * All vehicles will be directed into parking area by a designated VVDOC Member. * If you arrive early on Friday, please wait before setting up RVs, spaces may be assigned, and are dependent upon quantity and sizes of RVs. * All vehicles must be self contained. No hookups are available. * No discharging of gray water on premises. * All Generators must be off between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. * Exhibitors will be responsible for cleanup of their parking space. * All parking is at your own risk. The club and its management assume no responsibility for fires, theft and loss or damage to any rig or its cargo. Overnight/Day of Trial parking is a privilege extended by the Vegas Valley Dog Obedience Club (VVDOC). Any arguments, abusive language, or failure to follow the rules and/or instructions of parking officials may cause withdrawal of all parking privileges without refund of fees and possible discipline by the Trial Committee. 6 REGULATIONS FOR BOULDER CITY PARK GENERATOR: Must have a fence around the generator. Must be 20 ft. away from anything. Any gas motor/engine must be 20 ft. away from tents. Gas can must be 50 ft. away from anything. FOOD: Must notify health department if serving food. If food is served to workers only. No permit is needed. Cooking tent must be 20 ft. away from other tents/obstacles. Cooking tent must have a fire extinguisher Class K. TENTS: Cannot use 20 x 10 ft. tents unless they are fire retardant. Tents need to be 3 ft. apart. Stakes need to be placed at an angle. NO SMOKING IN TENTS. FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: Must have 2 fire extinguishers rated 2/A/10B/C If cooking, must have a Class K fire extinguisher. SIGNS: Need to post signs saying no smoking in tents.
