An exhibitor whose dog wins an obedience award must be present to accept the award when it is presented. In case of a tie for any prize, any dog that is not present for a run-off forfeits the right to the prize. The size of the Rally ring will be 40 x 50. RALLY CLASSES Novice A & B Intermediate Class Advanced A & B Excellent A & B Masters RAE Class (Dogs entered in this class will be entered in both AB & EB. Once the limit has been reached in either of these classes the RAE class will be considered closed, and any subsequent entries for this class will be unacceptable in their entirety. Entry fees must be paid for both classes. Exhibitors in the RAE class will receive a refund if one component of the class is unavailable) RACH Class (Dogs entered in this class will be entered in all Three classes AB, EB & Master.) Once the limit has been reached in any of these classes the RACH class will be considered closed, and any subsequent entries for this class will be unacceptable in their entirety. For permanent possession it must be won three (3) times by the same owner(s), not necessarily with the same dog nor at consecutive shows. Trophy will remain in the possession of the club until retired. Highest Scoring Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Regular Obedience Classes: 10 Sailor s Valentine created by Lynda Susan Hennigan with a Central Hand Painted Miniature Portrait of Royal Flush Queen of Heart s CD Painted by Alisonn Zorba, offered by Anne O Reilly and Annita Broberg, Brooksyde Cavaliers. The winner s name will be engraved on the frame. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS OBEDIENCE ENTRY FEES: First entry of each dog $30 Each Additional entry of the same dog... $25 RALLY ENTRY FEES: First entry of each dog... $30 Each Additional entry of the same dog... $25 RACH class (Advance B, Excellent B and Masters)... $75 (includes $.50 AKC recording fee each dog & $3.00 Event service fee on each entry) Additional entries must be in the same Event obedience and Rally are different events. RALLY: Limited to 100 entries BITCHES IN SEASON A refund minus $5 administrative fee will be made for a bitch that comes into season after the Closing Date, provided that the request is accompanied by a Veterinarian s certificate and is received by the Trial Secretary prior to the start of judging of that class.

5 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS (Both Days) CONDITIONAL, UNSIGNED, INCOMPLETE, TELEPHONE, OR TELEGRAPH entries cannot be accepted. ENTRIES NOT ON OFFICIAL AKC ENTRY FORMS or photocopies of entry forms without the agreement and rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC entry forms are NOT ACCEPTABLE. THE CLUB AND ITS SHOW SECRETARY ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or agent of the owner. This Club and its Show Secretary assume no responsibility for the owner or owner s agent entering a dog twice or in a class for which the dog is ineligible to compete. FEES MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRIES. ENTRY FEES will not be refunded in event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date, nor in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, or excused by the Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by the Bench Show Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete because it is incorrectly entered. If because of riot, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open the show, no refund of entry fee(s) will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, judges, exhibitors and spectators. The well being of dogs and participants is of paramount importance and in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. DOGS NEED TO BE AT THE SHOW only at scheduled time of judging and may leave immediately thereafter, unless required for further judging. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or their agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring. CLOSING DATE for entries 3:00 PM, Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018 (at Secretary s address) after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules. A RECORDING FEE of $0.50 is required for each dog entered, a Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each entry of any dog at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial, Rally Trial, or Tracking Test. These Fees are to be collected by the Show giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). POST DATED CHECKS AND RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequently returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. Please mail checks or money orders with entries. Secretary assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING. DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be excused. THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SECRETARY will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show. CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY & JUDGING SCHEDULE will be sent to the address on the Official AKC entry form after the closing date. If an exhibitor has not received a copy of

6 the Judging Schedule the Show Secretary should be contacted. If you want to know if an entry was received or made the cut off for its class, send the Trial Secretary an at BECAUSE ENTRY SERVICES DO NOT SEND ENTRIES TO THE SHOW SECRETARY UNTIL JUST BEFORE CLOSING, IT WOULD BE BEST NOT TO USE THEM TO MAKE ENTRIES AT A SHOW THAT HAS A LIMITED ENTRY. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS crating area and personal chair space will be limited. Please help us, use that space as efficiently as possible. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND PICK UP WHEN EXERCISING YOUR DOGS! CRATING, PARKING, DOGS Only dogs entered in the trial are allowed in the facility. Dogs may not be left in the building overnight, before or after the trial. Crating space is tight. Please crate carefully and efficiently. Parking will be very tight. Please park carefully and efficiently. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
