1 Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of the rules and regulations of ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America) and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial. A copy of ASCA s Herding Rulebook may be downloaded free from the ASCA web site: NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Dogs are not required to have an ASCA Registration, ASCA LEP, or Tracking number to enter this trial. Handlers do not need to be ASCA members. However, as of January 1, 2003, ASCA requires registration of all non- ASCA registered dogs in order to record and track these dogs for ASCA titles. If you wish to continue to have your qualifying scores recorded and receive ASCA titling certificates, you must register your dog and become a service member of ASCA at the time of registration. We will have forms available at the trial, a form is attached to this premium or you can go to the ASCA website RULES OF ENTRY FOR THIS TRIAL Entries will be accepted on the basis of those received on each day. Confirmations will be mailed or ed to all entered with information regarding which classes you have entered and check-in times. CLUB RULES FOR THE TRIAL WSDC reserves the right to refuse an entry based on suitable causes only, and in such instances ASCA will be notified. Every entrant must be in good standing with ASCA. All dogs must be on leash when not competing in the ring. Please clean up after yourself and your dog. Safety shall always be of foremost consideration in actions and conduct by handlers at all times. No entry will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riot, civil disobedience, fire and act of God, public emergency, and act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. There will be no refunds for entries withdrawn after the closing date, or in the event a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such dismissal. Cheques not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid entry. There will be a $25.00 service charge for returned cheques. No food, toys, other aids or devices will be permitted in the rings or within 10 feet of the rings at any time. 3 As of January 2003, all persons wishing ASCA to track scores towards ASCA titles, earned by their other breed dog at ASCA events, must register their dog with ASCA to obtain a tracking number. A one time tracking fee/dog of $10.00 along with a one time 1 year full or service Membership to ASCA is required. Forms will be available on show grounds or at : Entries, if available. (Day-of-Trial entries close at 7:30 a.m. for Trials 1&3 and a half hour before trials 2&4 begin) 8:00 a.m. Handlers meeting for trials 1&3 and 15miunutes before trials 2&4 begin. Trial begins immediately after the meeting. A waiting list will be maintained for each class of stock if entries exceed the available number of runs. If an owner pulls an entry and that space is filled from the waiting list, a refund shall be made. No entries may be substituted except in accordance with ASCA rules. Pre-entries must be postmarked not later than July 26,2013. Run order will be drawn before the trial.
