Eligibility Only purebred Pharaoh Hounds may enter the regular stakes. BREED DISQUALIFICATIONS. Hounds with breed disqualifications, as listed in the AKC Breed Standards, are ineligible to enter lure coursing trials and tests, with the exception of the Singles Stake. (a copy of this title must be attached to the entry form if the QC requirement is to be waived). Championship points are awarded from this stake. Open Veteran: Open only to hounds that are eligible to enter either Open or Special Stake, and are of Veteran age as determined by their Parent Breed Club. Championship or LCX points may be awarded from this stake. Special: Open only to hounds that are eligible to enter the Open Stake and have earned their AKC Field Championship title. LCX points may be awarded from this stake. Hounds under disqualification from AKC, ASFA or CKC Field Trials may NOT be entered. Singles: Open to all hounds of eligible breed, including those that are otherwise disqualified from entering the regular stakes (open, specials and veteran). Hounds entering in the singles stake may not also enter a regular stake at the same event. No championship or LCX points are awarded from this stake. General Information All entries must be one year of age or older on the day of the trial. Hounds not present at the time of roll call will be scratched after a 5 minute grace period and no refund will be given. Stakes may be split if sufficient entries are present in any one stake at the time of draw to support more than one 5-point Major. Bitches in season, lame hounds and hounds with breed disqualifications will be excused. Spayed and neutered, monorchid and cryptorchid hounds without breed disqualifications may be entered. All hounds will run twice, in trios if possible or braces, (except in the Single Stake), unless excused, dismissed or disqualified. Battery powered, continuous loop equipment will be used. Lures will consist of highly visible plastic strips. Back-up equipment will be available. A $5.00 fine will be assessed for any loose hound on the field that is not competing in the course in progress. GANG reserves the right to alter course due to field and/or weather conditions on the day of the trial.. Any person may, upon reasonable complaint, be asked to leave the grounds by the Field Committee. There will be a minimum $25 returned check charge. 3 IMPORTANT Facility Information This trial will be held at Chattahoochee Hills Eventing. CHE is an 8,000-acre equestrian eventing estate that runs 12 miles along the Chattahoochee River. It is convenient to the Atlanta Airport and downtown Atlanta. PLEASE NOTE: Horses and Riders have the Right of Wa y!! Drive SLOWLY. Follow signs. Please bring your ow n shade and w ater. There w ill be portable toilets available DO NOT put poop bags in the toilet!!! PLEASE PARK IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY! Course Plan Field Conditions The field is grass, which has been occasionally mowed. It is a hayfield and is not perfectly groomed, but it is level to gently sloping. Course will be reversed for finals, runoffs and Best of Breed. Course design is subject to change depending on weather and field conditions. Additional Information Refunds GANG will issue a refund of entry fees for dogs that are in season or lame, if your hound comes in season or becomes lame before the trial. If you will not be attending the trial for these reasons you must notify the FTS BEOFRE Roll Call otherwise you forfeit your entry fees. Lunch w ill be available for purchase at the field provided by Second Chance Gre yhounds. Practice Fun Runs will be offered after both test and trial competitions are complete, as weather and time permits, $5.00 each. Care of the Grounds Kindly enter the field at the area only. Parking areas will be clearly marked. Please clean up after your hounds. Smokers please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. There will be a $15 fine levied on all smokers leaving cigarette butts on the grounds or people caught not cleaning up after their dogs!! Please help us to be good stewards of this property and reciprocate our hosts generosity by leaving only our footprints/pawprints and good memories.
