For example, when it is 7 am in Indiana, it is 7 am in Ohio and 6 am in Illinois This event is accepting entries for dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners Program. Trial Hours: 1 hour prior to the first class to 30 minutes following conclusion of last class, Eastern time. Judging is limited to 8 hours of judging per judge per day. Rally trial is limited to 45 entries. Obedience and Rally trials will run concurrently both days. Event closes March 13, 2019 at 6 pm or when limits have been reached, after which time entries cannot be accepted, canceled, altered or substituted, except as provided in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules. 4 NOTICE TO ALL EXHIBITORS DISCLAIMER The German Shepherd Dog Club of Central Indiana, Inc. will assume NO responsibility for any personal injury to or death of any person; injury or death of any animal; nor theft, damage or loss of personal property, either at or on the show grounds whether as a result of accident or any other cause. The welfare of an exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. Exhibitors are expected to exercise control over their children. Trophies, ribbons, rosettes and prizes will be given to the owner or agent at the show. Trophies, ribbons, rosettes, and prizes will not be mailed. Various parts of the Specialty Show and Obedience-Rally Trials may be videotaped. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. All dogs present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when judged. Only dogs entered in the show are allowed in the building. Only AKC eligible dogs are allowed on the show grounds. No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted to be used within 100 feet of the show site. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the show committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. SITE INFORMATION Trial Hours: SAT / SUN - 1 hour prior to the first class to 30 minutes following the conclusion of the last class, Eastern time. Both rings are fully gated on a cushioned matted surface. There is air-conditioned, indoor crating in a separate room with AstroTurf flooring. Please come prepared to put a waterproof mat or covering under your crate and chair. No beverages (except water) or food are allowed in this room. Please also understand that there is not enough room for non-currently-competing dogs in the room where the competition rings are located. We invite everyone to enjoy watching dogs competing in the ring but request the audience keep their dogs in the crating room until they are warming up their dogs and getting ready to compete in the ring. You are welcome to sit and enjoy being with your dog in the crating room. We appreciate your cooperation and support with this issue. X-pens and crates may be left over night, but the GSDCCII or PPOTC will not be responsible for personal articles left at the site. No dogs may be left over night. No overnight vehicle parking is allowed. There is an RV campground near the building (see Hotel Information ). EMERGENCY INFORMATION Fire / Ambulance / Police: dial 911 GSDCCII and PPOTC assume no responsibility for any loss or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or any of their dogs, children, or personal property. All handlers must pick up after their dogs. Anyone witnessed not cleaning up after their dogs will be requested to leave and no refunds will be given. All exhibitors providing a legible address will be sent a preliminary confirmation. Final confirmation along with a judging schedule will be ed as soon as possible after closing. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to, snowstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, lightning, extreme heat must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors, and spectators. No refunds will be made. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors, and spectators is of paramount importance. In the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fees will be made. You are responsible for you and your dog s behavior. Any Official complaints need to be to be filed with the Show Committee as quickly as possible.
