The glass tub with over is unusual. Does the cover fit in between the handles? I don't have many in these shapes, will share a couple. 42 nancy Villaverde :38 PM ET Unmarked Jasperware, and I think several people have these. They are well made and look old. I've never seen anything like your donkey. Definitely a special donkey, Jytte! Jytte: Your donkey is made by Bayel (France) and shown in the catalog but I've never seen a painted one. The Sowerby is on a page that shows salts and novelties, but the salts are not pointed out so it definitely could be one. That teal colored slag is very pretty. 51 Jytte :02 AM ET Jytte :05 AM ET Debi - I have written "Bayel 1923" at the donkey...the other (Trading with Mary) and older American one "Tiffin Glass 1886"

I forgot to say about #88 - it is from Scotland. What a collection, jane! I love the enameled opaline tub. I've been away for a few days and came back to lots to see. Thank you, Nancy. So glad you had a good homecoming. My homecoming was just back to visit this site, Jane. I'd only been away from the computer. I had laser surgery on one eye for secondary cataract, excellent result. I think I's 20/20 in that eye now, first time in my life I haven't needed glasses or contacts. My vision was clear after cataract surgery and lazik treatment but clouded up again with secondary cataracts. I'd never heard of that, but several people in my apartment complex have had the same thing. I'm told about 1 in 4 cataract patients develop those. I need to have the laser treatment on my other eye later, but my vision is very clear with one good eye. Nancy V. Congratulations on your successful eye surgery. Sight is so important and mine stinks. Lolol That's great, Nancy! Well, not that you have to have another surgery.
22 :50 PM ET Glad your eye surgery was successful Nancy V. I don't wear corrective lenses but definitely need magnifiers now. I always used to have such great vision without glasses. Probably too much computer time over the last 20 years. I can still see far away well, just not close up without fuzziness. It sure is pretty. Hi All, I enjoy all the baskets and tubs! See MANY that I have, but also see several that I DON'T have. NOT THAT I NEED MORE!! Enjoy your "day off" today! Someone mentioned at Church yesterday, that it's "odd" to wish someone a "Happy Memorial Day", when it's about remembering those that have gone before us! Good point! Don

I thoroughly enjoyed it :38 AM ET :04 PM ET 173 Found some more, a favorite mostly because of who I got them from Well here it is June 1 and I never even thought about a new topic. I've been thinking a lot about Bob and Mary. Our girl has her own difficulties and I am worried for her health too. Everyone please pray for both of them. I'll look through past topics and come up with something today.
