We pay for cleaning up! Bring proof of poop to the club table and you will be given a raffle ticket. Every poop gets a ticket. Each day a drawing will be made for a beautiful prize basket as a thank you to all for cleaning up after your dogs. Arm Band Raffle. As a public relations move we are printing a survey on the back of each armband. The compiled information will support the city and Chamber of Commerce in supporting us! Please fill them out and bring them to the club tables. A winner will be drawn to receive a beautiful basket of goodies. Club Raffle. This one costs money! But you get a chance to win beautiful prizes and support the activities of the White Mountain Kennel Club. You can view the prizes at the club tables. Stolen Recipe Smokehouse BBQ will be serving a variety of smoked beef and pork dishes!!! TRANSFER OF ENTRIES NOTE: BECAUSE OF TRAVEL TIME, TRANSFER OF ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE AFTER 12:00 NOON ON WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 00. AFTER THIS TIME, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SUPERINTENDENT ON SITE. CONFORMATION: Dogs may be transferred from one of the regular classes to the Best of Breed or Variety competition, provided this transfer is presented to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the scheduled start of any regular conformation judging at the show. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP: Junior Handlers who win a third Novice Class with competition, if a win in Novice leads to a Best Junior with competition present it will count as one win towards moving to Open, after closing of entries for a show are required to transfer their entry from the Novice Class to the Open Class by notifying the Superintendent at least onehalf hour prior to the scheduled start of Junior Showmanship juding at the show. Correction may be made from one age division to another, provided this transfer must be made to the Superintendent at least one half-hour prior to the judging of any Junior Showmanship class at the show.

A report that an exhibitor at this show has abused hotel or motel property during this weekend may result in disciplinary action. Clubs reserve the right to decline future entries from the offending party in accordance with the provisions of Ch. 11, Sec. 15 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows. Arizona White Mountain Kennel Club wishes to keep this show site and needs your cooperation. RESERVED OVERNIGHT PARKING SEPTEMBER 30 & OCTOBER 1 (Please call to check for availability) All parking is a privilege extended by the Arizona White Mountain Kennel Club.The Club reserves the right to withdraw this privilege from any person who feels that he/she cannot abide by the rules or resorts to abusive language and/or tactics. If you wish to park next to another, applications must be received in the same envelope. All vehicles or RVs need to be self-contained. No waste or gray water is to be emptied on grounds. Only one vehicle per space. Overnight parking will not be available until 2:00PM SHARP on Friday. Overnight parking will reopen at 6:00AM each morning. All Units must be self-contained. No generators are run between 10:00PM and 6:00AM. Quiet Time. Parking will be on asphalt. Be prepared to bring proper ground cover. All generators need to have an exhaust vent up and out of the way of RVs next to them. Location of RVs to rings are first-come, first-served. PARKING INFORMATION Unloading zone will be limited to 15 minutes and will be strictly enforced. Any parking violators will be towed at owner s expense. Handicap parking will provide suitable ground surface to rings, but not necessarily be close to the rings. Any confrontation or verbal abusive language will not be tolerated and will be subject to an event show hearing. 2 ARIZONA WHITE MOUNTAIN KENNEL CLUB 2016 AKC Owner-Handled Series The AKC National Owner-Handled Series is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited by their owners that are not professional handlers. All dogs that are owner-handled and are not owned or exhibited by professional handlers meet the requirements for this competition. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the judge s book, steward s book & the catalog. Dogs must be handled throughout the breed level competition for the regular show by an eligible owner. Professional handlers, household members and current assistants to professional handlers may not exhibit the dog in any competition during the entire show. Owner-Handled Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs that are eligible to compete in the Best of Breed competition including Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and winners of the non-regular classes. Turn right onto Hwy Approximately 85 miles to Show Low. Turn left onto Deuce of Clubs. Approximately 1.5 miles to Central. Turn left onto Central. At stop sign turn left onto Old Linden Road. School parking lot is about 1/4 mile. OR Hwy. 89 to Payson. Turn right onto Hwy Approximately 85 miles to Show Low. Turn left at stoplight at Old Linden Road. Approximately 1.5 miles to school on left. FROM THE NORTH: From I-40 East or West. Exit at Holbrook. South on Hwy. 77 to Show Low. Turn right at Deuce of Clubs. Approximately 2 miles to Central. Turn RIGHT onto Central. At stop sign turn left. School parking lot is about 1/4 mile. OR From I-40 East or West: Exit at Holbrook. South on Hwy. 77 to Show Low. Turn right at Deuce of Clubs. Approximately 2 miles to Stop Light at corner of Old Linden Road. Turn RIGHT. Continue 1.5 miles (through a four-way stop at Central), to parking lot of school on right. ADDITIONAL RULES The Show Site will be available to exhibitors at 5:00PM Friday, September 30, Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following Best in Show Judging, or 6:00PM, whichever is later, on Sunday, October 2, These are self-cleaning shows. Equipment will be placed around the show grounds and outside show rings. If your dog soils the grounds, it is your responsibility to clean it up and place contents in the trash cans. By signing the entry forms for these shows, you are agreeing that clean-up is your responsibility. If you see an area that has not been cleaned, please notify our announcer. Also, please return our equipment for the next person to use. Because of the carelessness of some exhibitors, show sites are becoming more difficult to obtain. Arizona White Mountain Kennel Club asks your cooperation in cleaning up after yourself and your dogs. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up their own grooming area. No set-ups, exercise pens, grooming tables, etc. permitted in the aisles, and no grooming within 20 feet of the rings. Dogs may be kept in crates next to the ring where they are shown, but only while the breed is being judged. All generators must be off from 10:00PM until 6:00AM the next morning. No vehicle may be parked in the unloading zone for more than 15 minutes. Vehicles will be towed at the owner s expense. This club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for these events. New Exhibitor Briefing on Saturday, 11:45AM, at the superintendent s table. Spectators are welcome to attend. The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS ALL EVENTS LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, PHOTOGRAPH, ADVERTISE, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show or participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent.
