2 Entry Fees $20 for first entry fee per dog per day (includes $3.50 AKC recording fee) $12 for each additional entry per dog per day (includes $3.00 AKC recording fee) **Packages (per dog) Package #1 All 18 runs all days (includes Premier) $220. Package #2: 12 runs all days( JWW, Std, T2b & FAST) $150. Junior Handler ½ price Online Entries This trial is accepting online entries through LabTestedOnline.com. During the first 48 hours after opening, the initial limit of entries designated as either online or paper will be as follows. 132 runs online (33%), 528 runs paper (67%) each day. If either form of entry has not filled at the end of the 48 hour time period, the club reserves the right to decrease or increase either one accordingly. Entries must be delivered by multi-state or multi-national postal or carrier service, including but not limited to USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL. Signature requirement must be waived on all deliveries. If applicable, limit of 10 dogs per envelope. No hand deliveries in the first 24 hours. All entries must be submitted on official AKC Agility entry forms, one dog per entry form. Photocopies of entry forms without the AKC Agreement are not acceptable. Unsigned, incomplete, or illegible entries are not acceptable. If you would like confirmation that your entry was received before the trial has closed, please include your address or enclose a self-addressed stamped postcard. Entries cannot be changed once the trial has closed. Please check your entries. VENDORS There is free space for vendors. If you would like space, contact Mary BonDurant, (217) or Bondurant71@gmail.com After Closing Waiting List A waiting list (25 run maximum each day) will be maintained from closing until Monday, October 8, 2018, 6:00pm CDT. Any dogs that are entered in these trials at closing and pulled before the waiting list deadline will be replaced, if possible, by dogs in order on the waiting list, and the exhibitor will be reimbursed in full. If a dog is pulled but cannot be replaced the exhibitor will not receive a refund and the dog will be considered absent for the trials. Entry fees for dogs on the waiting list that do not get into the trial by the waiting list closing date will be refunded in full. Obstacles Please see the AKC Regulations for Agility Trials for current list of Mandatory Obstacles. Obstacles will meet the specifications for obstacles in the current edition of the Regulations for Agility Trials. Classes Offered Regular Agility Standard: Novice A & B, Open, Excellent and Master, Premier Jumpers with Weaves: Novice A & B, Open, Excellent and Master, Premier Time 2 Beat FAST: All Levels Preferred Agility Standard: Novice, Open, Excellent and Master, Premier Jumpers with Weaves: Novice, Open, Excellent and Master, Premier Time 2 Beat FAST: All Levels Dogs Eligible to Enter This trial is open to all dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP), an AKC Canine Partners listing number, or approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds are eligible to participate. Dogs with a PAL/ILP number or an AKC Canine Partners listing number must be spayed or neutered in order to compete. Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind or deaf, bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect a dog s physical or mental performance are not eligible to compete. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of the AKC Rules Applying to Registration and Discipline for the listing of registerable breeds that may participate. Wherever the word dog is used in these regulations, it includes both sexes. Tentative Running Order Electronic Timing will be used. Check-in begins at 7:00 am and judging to start at: Ring 1: 8:00 am all days. Ring 2: 8:30 am all days. Walk-through approximately 30 minutes before judging begins. Class Order Regular and Preferred will be run together at each height. Ring 1: Premier Std., Exc./Master Std., Exc./Master FAST, Open FAST, Nov. FAST, Open Std., Nov. Std. Ring 2: Time 2 Beat, Nov JWW, Open JWW, Exc./Master JWW, Premier JWW Running Order: Tall to Short - Friday Short to Tall Saturday Tall to Short - Sunday Move-Ups For the Friday trial: MOVE-UPS close at 6:00 pm CDT, Monday, October 8, Move-ups may be sent by regular mail or to the Trial Secretary. If an address is provided with your entry, an confirmation of the move-up will be sent. For the Saturday and Sunday trials: MOVE-UPS close 30 minutes after the end of the trial on Friday and Saturday respectively and must be submitted at the trial. Class Description Please see the AKC Regulations for Agility Trials for current class descriptions. Dogs must be entered only in Regular Classes or Preferred Classes with no crossover between them allowed at the same set of trials.

3 Prizes and Awards Standard, JWW, Premier, FAST, and Time 2 Beat: Qualifying ribbons will be awarded to all dogs qualifying in each jump height class. Ribbons will be awarded for 1 st 4 th place finishes in each jump height class. Dogs must qualify to receive placement ribbons. New Title rosettes will also be awarded to dogs finishing a new title at these trials. MACH, PACH, PAX, TQX, and TQXP ribbons and bars will be awarded to any dog finishing a MACH, PACH, PAX, TQX, or TQXP title at these trials. Height Divisions Owners are responsible for entering their dogs in the proper height divisions. Judge reserves the right to measure dogs entered in the trial. Height divisions are as follows: Height at the withers Regular Preferred May enter in a higher jump MUST enter the AKC Height than required but not mandated jump height in a lower jump height 11 & under at withers 8 inches 4 inches 14 & under at withers 12 inches 8 inches 18 & under at withers 16 inches 12 inches 22 & under at withers 20 inches 16 inches over 22 at withers 24 inches 20 inches Regular Dogs may not be entered in this height if they are 22 or under 22 or under, at owner s discretion 24C inches AKC Jump Height Cards All dogs competing in agility must possess an official AKC Jump Height Card. You are not required to show your height card or send a copy with your entry. You are required to mark on your entry form if your dog needs measured. For more information please visit SITE INFORMATION: The trial will be held in an indoor packed dirt arena. 2 rings, 100 x 100 in size will be used. Crating space will be available. There will be a food concession at the trial site. There are several restaurants and fast food places within driving distance RV Hookups RV hookups are available on the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Please contact the Illinois State Fairgrounds Camping office at: or visit the website at: RV hookups around the Enclosed Covered Arena will be reserved for trial personnel. Please contact: Chari Hopper, (h) or (c) to see if there are any spots available. Trial Information The building will be open Thursday afternoon/evening, October 11, 2018, for course building. Times will be announced after closing. Volunteers who assist in setting up the rings may set up their crates after course building is completed. Trial hours are: 7:00am to 30 minutes after the completion of judging. The Covered Arena is not air-conditioned or heated. It does have indoor restrooms and bleacher seating. Please bring crates and water for your dogs and clean up supplies. Xpens will be allowed for 2 or more dogs but should be restricted to the minimum size required for crating. Notice to Exhibitors *The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering these trials, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. *It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Event Committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case no refund of any fees paid will be made. *No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot be opened or completed by reason of riots, civil disturbance, fire, an Act of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the Event Committee. *All dogs must be on leash or crated at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. *Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. The judge need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Failure to be at ring gate could result in the exhibitor being marked absent. *Entries must be made on Official AKC Entry Forms or copies and must include the signed Agreement and Rules. Junior Handlers must complete back of form. Include only AKC titles on form. *Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. There is a $25 returned check fee. *Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may have made such errors. No entry will be refunded in the event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Errors in entries made by the exhibitor cannot be corrected after the closing date. No refunds for duplicate entries. *Since bitches in season are not allowed to compete in this trial the club will refund all but $5.00 of the entry fee per day for bitches unable to compete for this reason. The Trial Secretary must receive notification (phone or ) of such a claim for refund as soon as possible along with a confirmation letter from a veterinarian. *Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused or barred from competition by action of the Event Committee or the judge. *The club will refund all but $10.00 of the entry fee per day for injured or ill dogs. Written request for a refund must be made to the Trial Secretary prior to the start of the first trial day and a veterinarian s letter must be provided within one week of the trial. *Dogs under 4 months of age are not permitted on the show grounds of AKC Agility Trials. *Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. * All owners of mixed breed dogs must first obtain an AKC Canine Partners listing number before they may enter an AKC Agility event. The dog s breed name should be entered as All American Dog. The dog s listing number must be entered on the entry form and AKC No. checked. *Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s). Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Event Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. No un-entered dogs are permitted with 30 of the ring barriers. CCTC, their Board and Members, and the Illinois State Fairgrounds and its employees will not be liable for any loss or injury which may be sustained through disappearance, loss, theft, communicable disease, parasites, injury and/or death of dogs entered in this event. *Capitol Canine Training Club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry form for this event.

Any damages to motels or the trial site can result in disciplinary action by the Event Committee. It is expected that exhibitors will clean up immediately after their own dogs and strongly encourage others to do the same. All owners/exhibitors should be aware that the entire motel grounds are considered within the trial grounds. You will be responsible for all damage to your room and may be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the rules of the AKC. Any abuse of the grounds will be brought to the attention of the trial-giving club and it s Event Committee. Any exhibitor s entries may be refused for previous misuse of the motel facilities.
