Michael worked at Auckland City Stamps for over 15 years and was a valued part of our team. Michael had a photographic memory and an encyclopedic knowledge of New Zealand and World philatelic stamp and postal history material. Michael s personal philatelic interests extended across postcards and postal history of Auckland s Onehunga suburb. Michael was also a very keen book collector and had an outstanding collection of rare, early books from New Zealand and around the Pacific. Over the years Michael made many wonderful discoveries in the back room at Auckland City Stamps and he was always an enthusiastic part of the team ready to help out and participate where ever he was required. In later years Michael provided much needed proof reading assistance across our Auction Catalogues and ACS Colour Catalogue of New Zealand Stamps. In his final months we kept him up to speed with the exciting news of our acquisition of Campbell Paterson and right until the end he continued to offer advice and comment on the goings on at Auckland City Stamps. Catalogue Listings When describing lots we generally use the latest edition of either The Auckland City Stamps Colour Catalogue of New Zealand Stamps, Stanley Gibbons World & British Commonwealth Volumes or The Campbell Paterson Catalogue Of New Zealand Stamps. Return Of Lots If you believe that a lot has been incorrectly described you must return it within 48 hours of receipt and if we agree with you a replacement or credit will be arranged. In the event of a dispute the opinion of a mutually agreed authority will be sought and such opinion will be final. The following lots are not returnable: i. Items illustrated in the catalogue are not returnable for visible faults. ii. Items that have been immersed in water or subjected to a chemical process subsequent to sale. iii.
