Oz block schedule. You will notice a date, location and the page numbers. Sometimes the dance numbers will be listed. If you are scheduled for this dance you need to be on time and dressed ready to move. You want to make the most of your time in rehearsal so be on time, attentive to instruction, and do your best. Please check the school web page for daily info and updates as we move through the rehearsal process. You can find the link for all the information at the school website, teacher, Wheaton. Look on the left side of the page and you will see the additional page options. OZ will be listed at the very bottom. All above in this block meets to run with music pages SOUND TECH: All effects must be in place by this day. We will run show with sound effects polished on the 18th. Be ready. Oct Director will work with Dorothy, Scarecrow. Work on relationship and staging add tin man and lion. 4:30-5 run the crow section with the leads 2: run the optimistic music section and the dance with the crows. 4;30-5 run entire section with leads and the crow dancers (polish) All tickets must be sold by this date to meet the 10 quota Singing rehearsal with Justin in choir room. All Munchkins go over songs 330- Justin join leads on stage with Wheaton for staging til 5 Oct 12: 9-10am -Director work with Glinda, wicked witch, Dorothy, "Munchkin Musical Sequence part 1 Glinda's song" Techs will be called need 4 back stage crew for this time slot am Sc. 7 pages All leads-tin man, lion, scarecrow, Dorothy (staging and relationships) 11-11:30 add the door man. Run the leads and the doorman section at the gate 11:30-12;30 Add Jitterbugs Run with the leads 12:30-1lunch 1-2 add OZ at this time and stage the King of the jungle sections also sc ALL called in the cast we will run the show. Wear clothes you can move in and be prepared for costume fittings if needed. All members should bring a dish for lunch if you wish to share in the potluck. You may arrive early if you are not called til 2. Come and have lunch and help with crew til your time block is needed. You must be busy. No one is allowed to disturb rehearsal. You must be busy or wait to come to campus til your time block is called. Theme for potluck. SSS day-(sandwich, Salads and Soups) Oct 14 DARK -Choir concert Oct 15 TECH day all crew called to load in the set peices Oct 16 dark-lighting Oct 17: 2:30-5 All called run show with costume peices that are finished. You must be dressed and ready by 3pm. to start. NO Exceptions. Oct 18: All called to run show without costumes. (team will need time to make changes and alternations) Be prepared to change if needed. 2:30-5 run show with all sound effects.
4 Oct 19 DARK -band has campus for event. Leads will do the night of SERINADE fund raiser. Meet at MV at 4pm. We will travel to various homes and be done by 9pm. Depending on the number of bookings. Pot luck today and we will break at 12;30-1pm to eat. THEME Mexican Oct 28 All called with TECH 3;15-8pm. Bring dinner you will have to eat when you get a break. No dinner break will be scheduled. EAT when you can. In costume and ready by 3:15 start. Oct 29 Talent Show rehearsal til 5 Wizard of Oz cast called at 5pm to 9pm for a run through in costume Oct 30
5 Talent show call time at 530 for all involved- NO WIZARD CAST MEMBERS NEEDED DARK November 1st is a non-school day. We may hold rehearsal depending on trouble spots. It will be a block day. Be prepared to attend. Nov 2: 9-4pm all called full run through with make up, costume, lights, sound, props, wigs, be on time. Pot luck day and we will do Italian theme. BREAK at 12;30-1pm. Nov 4: 3:15-8 all called. TECH run through no costumes. We will be working set changes so please be patient. No make up needed. Prepare ahead for your dinner break. No break will be given eat when you can Nov 5 3:15 3:15-8 all called. Final dress tech. Full costumes, makeup, hair, etc. WE OPEN TOMORROW. Nov 6: Opening Call time is 715am in room 906. You will be with Wheaton til your last period in room 906. Make sure you have your TEACHER release forms complete. Elementary shows at 9:30 and 11am. We will not do an afternoon block. You will return to your last period classroom. Call time for evening show will be 5:30. This is the Gala Night. Tech needs to have things ready for the guest dinner. Nov 7: Opening Call time is 715am in room 906. You will be with Wheaton til your last period in room 906. Make sure you have your TEACHER release forms complete. Elementary shows at 9:30 and 11am. We will not do an afternoon block. You will return to your last period classroom. Call time for evening show will be 5:30. Nov 8: Call time is 5:30 for all cast and crew. Show at 7pm. Nov 9 Call time is 5:30 for all cast and crew. Show at 7pm Nov 12: Stike this means we tear down the set, put away costumes, clean the theater for the next production. "Spamalot" Cast party will follow the strike. It will be held off campus. You can attend the cast party only if you participated in the strike. NO EXCEPTIONS
