1 Ryan Kim - Peter Pastureman -Narrator Joanne Kim - Trampe-Rampe -Narrator Se-Ho Park - Messenger -Old man -Drull-Drull-Drulsery-Drull Jasmine Park - Bull-Bull-Bulsery-Bull Enya Song - Klampe-Lampe Ji Hae Chang - Uggle-Guggle -Old woman The Four Big Trolls and Peter Pastureman Scene 1 (Joanne) NARRATOR: (This time Ryan, because Joanne has to be with the Four Trolls): (Narrator walks to the center of the S tage, walk slowly around as speaking) Long ago, when only trolls lived in the dark mountains and dark forests, each crevice had an old troll living in a cave under the snakelike roots of the big trees. There were big trolls, little trolls, and trolls who lived with family. (Four Trolls come line up next to the Narrator) (Four Trolls find ways to introduce themselves magnificently while the Narrator introduces them) The four hugest trolls called themselves the greatest of all; Bull-Bull-Bulsery-Bull, from the North, Drull-Drull-Drulsery-Drull, who lived in the East; Klampe-Lampe from the South; and Trampe-Rampe, who wandered around, but said he lived in the West. Each wanted to be the best troll of all, and looked down upon the others. (Four Trolls face each other and start to scowl and yell at each other) Hey! Hey! Dude! Stop! Stop! Just introduce yourself! (Four Trolls look ashamed)

2 (Bull comes forward in front of the Narrator and the other 3 trolls, clears his throat and introduces himself with Confidence) Hello! I m Bull-Bull-Bulsery-Bull from the North. Call me Bull. I live in the Bunner Mountain. I have this big lake that humongous enough for bathing pool and fishing. I know, it s amazing. The LAKE is so amazing that I just used my two troll oxen to pull the land away and requested the old Whitebeard (the master of Snowfall Mountain) to supply water. That s how the lake was made. (Drull pushes him back, yelling It s my turn!! Drull comes forward) It s finally my turn, which was so irritating since I should have gone first. Anyway, hello, I m Drull-Drull-Drulsery-Drull from the East. Just call me Drull. I live in the Steep Mountain, with huge chambers for me to live in. I placed a large boulder on top of the chambers so I could stand and look out over the hills. (Klampe-Lampe comes forward as Drull goes back in line with other Trolls) : KLAMPE-LAMPE : I m Klampe-Lampe from the South. Call me Klampe for short. Hmm...I don t have much to say... (Looks around timidly) I live in a large hole under seven spruce trees. It s very cosy, I love it. I also have a very old fire on my hearth that I keep in good control. Trampe-Rampe is getting angry so I guess I ll hand it over. (Klampe-Rampe moves back as Trampe-Rampe impatiently comes forward) : TRAMPE-RAMPE : Oh my gosh, I m like the last one to speak. See, I don t have much time for this and I took all my time to come here, and I m the LAST one to speak. This is agonizing. I should be respected around here. (The other three trolls shout in protest) Come on! People are waiting! TRAMPE-RAMPE : Fine! I m Trampe-Rampe from the West. Just call me Trampe. I don t really live at one place permanently. I like to travel all over the world, and yeah. That s like, all about it. Can we go now? Yes... NARRATOR (Ryan):

3 TRAMPE-RAMPE: Okey-Dokey- let s get out of here! (All the trolls exit, and Ryan comes forward to the center) : NARRATOR (Ryan) : Phew, nasty customers, eh? You ll get used to it soon enough. Wait, what? Who am I? I m Peter. Peter Pastureman. I m the small guy who works for those four trolls. I drive Bull s oxen, herd Drull s goats, catch Klampe s rams, and ride Trampe s horses. It s hard to do, but that s my job. Scene 2 - Se Ho : NARRATOR (Joanne): (Narrator comes out) The big trolls were not friends, like he said earlier. They were glad when they played cunning tricks on each other and angry when they were ones being tricked. Now, the story continues with some royal problems. (Narrator exits stage) Our king! No! He s...he s...he s...dead!!! : SOMEONE OFF STAGE : (Klampe and Bull hurriedly comes out into the center stage) : KLAMPE : Did you hear? A new troll king is needed. Guess what? I m going to be king. I am the most logical choice. Aren t I the most logical choice? I deserve to be the king. I mean, just looking at my handsome face, I ought to be the highest of everyone. (Drull comes out) Oh please. I deserve the king s throne. I shall be the king of the trolls! I m the most skillful in everything. (Trampe comes out) : TRAMPE : What about me? I think I ll make a great king of trolls. (Stares away from the other trolls)

4 (Klampe, Bull, and Drull, Trampe stare in confusion, then make angry hisses at each other) Until this is over, everyone is on their own. (Klampe, Bull, Drull, Trampe separate, and line up) And then... NARRATOR (Ryan) : : KLAMPE : BULL... He s so ugly! And he thinks he deserves to be a king! (Angry) a DRULL... He s so arrogant! And he thinks he deserves to be a king! (Angry) TRAMPE... He s so dumb! And he thinks he deserves to be a king! (Angry) : TRAMPE : KLAMPE...He s so ignorant! And he thinks he deserves to be a king! (Angry) (All trolls stare in confusion again) (Every troll leaves the stage) :NARRATOR (Ryan): The trolls could not decide on which one to become the ruler. So they all decided, individually to go to Uggle-Guggle. Oh. Uggle-Guggle is the wisest troll witch of all. Everybody...and I mean everybody... goes up to her for advice! (Witch and Bull line up in the Center Stage, but very far away from each other) Hmm...the witch can decide who will be the king...after all she is so wise! Why don t I go up to her right now and do some sweet talking? (Bull knocks on the witch s door) : WITCH : (Open an imaginary door for Bull) A Distinguished Visitor.

5 HI, Uggle-Guggle. I see you did some makeup! Nice. Nice. (Pause for a moment) Okay, here s the deal. I need help. You see, I must become the king of the trolls. I need you to persuade to the others that I m the best option for the king s throne. I would do anything! I would even give my best golden cow if you tell them that I will be king! (Drull knock comes at the door) Uggle-Guggle, I was never here. If Drull finds out I was here, we re going to start World War III all over again.. : UGGLE-GUGGLE : Understood perfectly. Now go hide somewhere. (Bull hides in an imaginary attic - lays down face-first) Hey! Uggle-Guggle, what s up! Okay, look. I need help. I want you to tell the trolls to make me the king...you see... (Everyone freezes, the Narrator Ryan comes out) : NARRATOR RYAN : This continued for the four trolls. When Klampe came, Drull hid in a cottage door. When Trampe came, Klampe hid in an oven. Then, a huge noise made Trampe hide behind the shed. Someone was at the door. Everybody s sweet talking failed miserably. SCENE 3- Ryan Nature Bam bam Uggle-guggle YEAHAS? Messenger Hello, Uggle-Guggle! You probably knew already that I was coming since you are the wisest of us all! Why thank you. UGGLE-GUGGLE NARRATOR We were wondering who would be the next troll on the throne. Tell us your thoughts. (Everyone freezes except narrator)

6 NARRATOR: Any of those trolls could be the king, but that was only the messenger s thought. The four trolls couldn t take it anymore. Their hiding places was just horrible. They knew that the messenger would go in a little while..however~! :KLAMPE: AAACHOOOO! After the huge sneeze, everyone stood in complete shock when they heard Uggle-Guggle. :UGGLE: No one is going to be the King! The four trolls started to have an argument about who was going to be the king! They were trying to prove to each other that they were the best. BULL: I m the best option! KLAMPE: No, I am! DRULL: Please...for god s sake..! Just admit that I m the greatest option! TRAMPE: Oh, please! No way! (Throws a rock at Drull, but misses and aims at the fishpond) The rock was a bad shot and it splashed all the water out of the fishpond. Nobody knew what to do. The valley was about to be flooded. Then, came Peter. :PETER: What on earth! Oh, my! Everyone! Go! Go! Go! To your house for spades! Oh, and also pickaxes! :BULL: I know who threw this boulder, I m going to throw a bigger boulder! (Bull throws the boulder)

7 :DRULL: Ouch!!! My teeth!!! What was that for!!! Ouch, my teeth!!!! BULL: Drull would never have thought of that! Look at him! He s sharing the whole herd and wrapped soft hair around Drull s head that the ache would go away! Ha! and Ha! KLAMPE: None of us, but Peter always knows what to do! (A huge and noisy sound comes) KLAMPE: Oh no! What is this sound! Oh, oh! Trampe don t do it! No! Stop! (When he saw Klampe-Lampe, he remembered the sneeze at the witch s house. He got mad at Klampe-Lampe, so he blew all the breath with fire but thing didn t go well.) NARRATOR: The fire began to burn more fiercely and harder. (All the trolls rushed to Peter Pastureman for help) DRULL: Peter! Peter! What do we do? Ouch, my teeth!! What do we do! NARRATOR: Peter Pastureman decided to gather Trampe-Rampe s best horses and harnessed them to widely all around the burning part of the forest. The fire burned itself out. (Peter Pastureman pretends to harness the horses that people can see it s horse. He moves along with running after) KLAMPE: A real thunderclap of a boy you are! Trampe, what did you do? BULL: Thanks a lot! Trampe could have caused more damage! DRULL: Good one! Trampe, don t do that ever...again! TRAMPE: Sorry for the fire! My bad!

8 NARRATOR: Klampe-Rampe learned that Trampe-Rampe was the one who tricked him. They started to fight with thunderous noises. (Klampe-Rampe attacks Trampe-Rampe with loud voice and fights with a growling sound. Move with a big motion. An old man and an old woman grab each other of fears) OLD MAN: Ahhhhh!! This noise from Trampe-Rampe and Klampe-Rampe s fight! I can t live like this! This is ridiculous! :OLD WOMAN: They re not even stopping at all! Cut that out! :OLD MEN AND WOMAN: Peter! (Peter Pastureman run to Old man and old woman as they yell the name) PETER: I know exactly what to do! (Peter Pastureman runs and whisper to the old man and hand him a bundle) :OLD MEN: What you mean to untie the Whitebeard s biggest troll sack? :OLD WOMAN: These snowflakes are used once every hundred years! (Speak with surprise) (Peter Pastureman untie the bundle and throw it in the air) The snowflakes came out from the bundle and it made Klampe-Rampe and Trampe-Rampe stop fighting. (Klampe-Rampe and Trampe-Rampe stopped fighting and jumped back and fall down. They stood up and looked up to the crowd. They are ashamed and run away with sadness) :OLD MAN: A job, well done! :OLD WOMAN: You have helped us out of many danger and you certainly do keep your head on!

9 (A murmur goes through the crowd) Bull: That was exactly what Uggle-Guggle had said. Which she said the king will be one of the guys who always keep his head. (Voice: Highlight the word Keep His head ) And seven days passed since the troll messenger visited the wise witch s house. The days were carefully counted. In the end, Peter became the king! Little Peter was happily celebrating with the trolls. They were dancing all the way down to the throne in Seven Mile Mountain. He lived a long and happy life. :PETER: (Happy) Our king always keeps his head. TROLLS: Peter! Peter! Peter! (goofs around and makes noises) To this day, the water from Bull s lake flows down that mountainside and around the stone that Drull threw in anger. For Klampe-Lampe, hardly a bush grows where his fire burned the forest. Trampe-Rampe lived his ordinary ways, while on the top of High Mountain the snow from White beard s troll sack never melted.
