SHOW TIMEs Vehicle access to Coorong Pavilion is via the Shell petrol station gate on Northbourne Avenue (Federal Highway). Exhibitors vehicles must vacate the showgrounds prior to 7.45am (this is an RNCAS requirement). Judging will begin at 8.30am with Junior Exhibitor Classes followed by the Novice Class for Show 1 (no Junior or Novice Classes for Show 2). GENERAL CLASSES FOR BOTH SHOWS WILL BEGIN AT 9 AM. Departure Transport back to the car park will be arranged as a courtesy by the RNCAS (around 5 pm); details TBA. Anyone wishing to leave earlier may walk out, with their cavies. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, judge substitution will be at the discretion of the show organisers. Enquiries, substitutions and Scratchings NOT entries Substitutions will be accepted within the same Group until the catalogue is finalised. EXHIBITION Exhibitors must be financial members of an ANCC affiliated cavy club. Carpet squares approximately 30cm X 30cm are required for each cavy; or show boards, to be no higher than 5cm. Exhibition cavies will not be on display to the public. Rather, the SHOW itself is the display. Members of the public wishing to speak to cavy fanciers or pat a cavy can visit the information booth run by the Capital Country Cavy Club every day at the Farmyard Nursery in a separate venue (Building M). Some cavies will also be for sale there. Selling of animals No animals of any species to be sold on the day in the Tea-Tree Room. JUDGING The judge s decision is FINAL and no correspondence will be entered into. No judge or the immediate family of a judge may exhibit at a show at which they are judging General Classes. Trestle tables Table space is included with the first entry and will be allocated based on entry. After show dinner Due to continuing popularity, the after show dinner on Saturday evening will again be held at Choices Restaurant, in the Ainslie Football Club, which includes an allweather cook your own BBQ area, carvery and pizza oven, as well as the bistro. They are licensed and offer a range of meals. Sample menu: choicesrestaurant/. Please indicate your interest on the entry form so that we can book in advance. You will be contacted with more details closer to the date. Entry Fee / Catalogue The entry fee covers both shows and includes trestle table space, catalogue and entry to the Actew AGL Royal Canberra Show (a savings of at least $20).
