Health Center Worship Service - Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in the Health Center Dining Room. All are welcome! Between the Bookends: Deepak Chopra bases his Buddha on the widely accepted outline of his subject s life. From his birth in India in 563 B.C.E., the king, his father, shields Prince Siddhartha from all suffering. But the prince leaves this luxurious existence to find enlightenment as Gautama, a wandering monk. After years of self-inflicted depravation, he discovers The Truth while sitting under a fig tree and becomes the Buddha, whose teachings reach around the world. Skeletons at the Feast by Chris Bohjalian is a masterful love story set against a backdrop of epic history and unforgettable courage. In the waning months of World War II, a small group of people begin the longest journey of their lives. At the center is Anna and a Scottish prisoner of war. But he is the enemy and their love must remain a closely guarded secret. This is a bittersweet story of romance, war, and death inspired in part by a real diary. New Books China Dolls by Lisa See, Fiction (LP) Me Before You by JoJo Moyes - Fiction The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith (really Harry Potter author), Mystery (LP) Busy In The Cause (Iowa, The Free State Struggle..) by Lowell J.
