The reason for this sale is that I have been suffering with my health, pigeon lung and a allergy to the pigeons, the specialist says you must either pack them up or cut them down drastically, so I must cut back on the numbers, which is my first option. And after 6 months he will make his decision, whether I can keep them. You all know how these top birds have performed if you read From the Dugout or Duggins Diaries and the birds for sale are the best I have ever had, having kept pigeons for over 54 years, forming a team of Leo Van Rijn, Joop Groenen and Fred Dukker, mostly Janssen based birds. I rate these three fanciers the best in the Netherlands. The only pigeons I am keeping are bred from some of these that are for sale, and some of my racers, which hopefully,

Although over the years we have won thousands of prizes, the results would take up too much space so these are only some of the results from the last 4 years or so. In Darley Dale Club you are only allowed to win two prizes, sometimes we have had 15 widowhood cocks back before some surrounding fanciers have timed in. Unfortunately success makes fanciers run away to other clubs, which is what has happened at Darley Dale HS. The clubs in the west section of the fed, where my loft is situated, will not have me in there clubs, although fanciers in front of me and behind me can get in. I find this very sad running away from top competition, instead of them trying to improve. Flying in Darley Dale HS only 2012 we won 20x1sts, 21x2nds. In 2013 we won 19x1sts, 23x2nds. In 2014 we won 20x1sts, 22x2nds. In 2015 we won 20x1sts, 19x2nds and in 2016 we won 19x1sts and 21x2nds. THAT IS 98x1ST PRIZES IN THE LAST 5 SEASONS Although Darley Dale is a small club, in 2015 we were the Highest Club Points Winners in the North Derbyshire SR Federation and Mr & Mrs Duggins were the Highest Points winners, the Fed has over 140 members.
