2 It is an honour for us to present our entire loft of WORLD CLASS PIGEONS to the pigeon fraternity. Roland has decided to end his pigeon career of 62 years due to a pigeon lung problem and the fact that he owns a Horse Breeding Farm dedicated to race horses in the Cape. I would like to take this opportunity to send out a heartfelt thank you to Roland for the precious years we spent together as partners. Together our pigeons have set new standards in pigeon racing. The following achievements are but a few of our successes during our racing career over the last 12 years: We won 7 Federation Races in one year flying against to pigeons every week, We were the 1 st fanciers in the Federation to win two Federation Races in one day, The 2013 season we won the Single Bird averages with a record of points, as well as winning the All Bird averages with a record of points. In addition we won: o The Putrie Memorial for the most positions in the Federation o All bird averages for short flying distances o Single bird averages for middle distance racing o Single and All bird averages for long distance racing o Supreme Championship averages o Winners in the Classic averages o The ultimate highlight of our career was winning The Gold Medal for Best Pigeon in South Africa and with the same pigeon TRPF winning The Gold Medal Short Distance. This hen GOLDEN PRINCESS was the best pigeon we ever raced in our pigeon careers. The cherry on top was having the 1 st seven best birds in the Alberton Club in This is the 1 st time in this club s history that a fancier achieve this honour and as you know many great fanciers compete in this Club. Our family of pigeons are based on the Blue Bar White Flight, Cock THU out of Blou Bul SA and an inbred gold medal De Vos hen TRPF , and Bianca out of Rocky. These pigeons made our prestigious family of pigeons. We crossed the imported pigeons with the above mentioned family, to create the highest quality of racing pigeon s to date.
