We are more than happy to assist interstate bidders in any way possible. For any fancier wishing to attend the auction we are happy to provide information on local accommodation and provide directions on how to get to the venue. For fanciers who are unable to attend we will aid in bidding. There are 2 alternatives; we can have you set a limit on any lots of interest prior to the auction. We will have somebody bid on your behalf to that limit. Of course if the bird sells for an amount less than your limit you only pay the lesser amount. Alternatively we can setup phone bidding for you on the day of the auction. You then have the ability to listen in on any lots that you may be interested in and bid via the telephone. To aid with the process we will supply a suitable freight box at (nominal cost) and transport your birds to the Brisbane Air Express office at no extra charge to you. Obviously the cost of freight and collection at the final destination will be borne by the purchaser. Payment of purchases has been made easy, you can pay with your redit ard or heque but prior arrangements must be made if you plan to use a personal cheque. Transport to the venue :- For those fanciers intending to fly into Brisbane for the event, we will arrange a pickup from Brisbane Airport and transport to leveland. There will be only one pickup time & it will depart Brisbane Airport for leveland at 8.00 am, so please make your flight arrangements to suit this. 7 AUTION RULES 1. Judging sticks and carry cages will not be allowed into the auction room. The birds must not be interfered with or subjected to sticks, pens or similar objects. NO SMOKING will be permitted in the auction room at all times. 2. Prior to the start of the auction each intending bidder is required to complete a registration form & receive a bidder s number. The bidder's number will be required to purchase any lots at auction and must be displayed to the auctioneer after the fall of the hammer. 3. All lots will be submitted in the order in which they appear in the catalogue; however, if necessary the vendor or the organizers reserve the right to make any alterations, additions or deletions to this order. 4. All conditions and warranties expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded and as all lots are open for inspection prior to commencement of the sale, the same are sold with all faults, if any, therefore no compensation shall be made in respect of any fault or imperfection or error of description of any lots sold or otherwise. WRBS acts as an agent only in respect of the goods being auctioned & is not responsible for any faults, defects or description of any lots. Intended purchasers must satisfy themselves as to the origin, age or condition of any lot in which they may be interested. 5. Upon the fall of the hammer each lot shall be at the purchaser's risk. 6. After the fall of the hammer no party will be allowed to retract his/her bid. 7. Subject to the vendor having the right to bid, the highest bidder shall be the purchaser, and in the event of any dispute arising the lot in dispute shall be put up again and the auctioneer's decision shall be final. 8. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or refuse any bid on birds without having to state the reason or reasons thereof. 9. Telephone bidding will be available, provided PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS have been made. Payment arrangements must be confirmed prior to the auction. 10. Payment for the goods on the day shall be by AS, MASTERARD, VISA unless prior arrangements have been made. There will be no surcharge for redit purchases. Personal cheques will not be accepted on the day of the auction without prior arrangement. 12. Successful purchasers of lots will be required to take their purchases with them before or at the completion of the auction. All lots must be removed at the completion of the sale. 13. If any successful bidder shall fail to pay for their purchases on the day, the vendor or his agents have the right to resell the lot in any manner they think proper. 14. Purchases may be collected prior to the completion of the auction. See steps below 14.A Take the sales slip to the cashier 14.B Pay for purchases & obtain receipt for your purchases. 14. Proceed to the WRBS Steward at the allocated collection point with own carry cage and evidence of purchase. 14.D Under the supervision of the WRBS Steward the purchaser will be required to remove the bird/s from the sale cage and transfer it/them to their own cage. 14.E The vendor, his agent, the auctioneer or any staff will not be handling the birds. It is the sole responsibility of each purchaser to handle his/her own birds at collection. The high light is winning 3 National Logies. The Appletons love the hobby & all the socializing that goes with it. Matt olyoak; NSW I have been breeding budgies for 11 years and the president of the Pied Budgerigar Society for the past 4 years. I am at intermediate status as I am unable to show due to work commitments on weekends. My only show being the State Team hallenge, making my birds available for the PBS team. My birds are made up of the following bloodlines: Gazzard, Thurn, Denning and McFarland. I have numerous in the top 10 at state level and am fortunate enough to have 9 birds represent NSW at the nationals th learwing, rd Lutino, th & 10 th learwings, th, 20 4 th, th rest, 20 2 nd Albino & 3 rd learwing. Barry & Maree Wise NSW Started breeding and showing budgerigars in Northern NSW in 1986, after moving to the unter Valley in 2000 we started entering birds in the State National Selection shows. From that time, we have had 20 birds selected with 2 national wins in the wing class and birds selected in 10 different National classes in total with 6 birds selected in 20. ad multiple Grand hampion in show wins the best was winning hampion Bird in Show at the 2008 BSNSW Annual Show. Our latest success was Best Open Young, Best Young Bird in show and Reserve Bird in show plus best Green,, Albino,, and Recessive Pied in show all at the ills 2019 Annual Show. Ray Slade; VI hampion Victoria Breeder After a 15 year break from the hobby I recommenced breeding in 2006 in South Australia but now living in Victoria. Since 2010 I have had over 30 birds selected for the Nationals. In this period, I have had National wins with Black Eyes 20 & 20 along with a 3rd two 4th and a 6th placing with the Black Eyes. I have also had a 2 nd with English Yellow Face and 3 rd and 6 th with Lacewings. I have also had 8 wins at the State hampionship Shows and 2 Diploma wins. Tim Gleeson; NSW Tim is an open breeder from country NSW who rarely shows due to his location and family commitments. e has represented NSW with numerous birds at National level when he makes birds available for two wins in the Yellow face and Sky class. In 20 he won 4 classes at the state selection show - innamon, Albino, Yellow face and lear body. Winning the Yellow face class, 3rd in the innamon class and 7th and 8th in the lear bodys at the 20 Nationals. The Albino broke her tail 3 days before the Nationals and was scratched she is a super hen. The background of Tim s birds are originally from Gary Gazzard, John Scoble and Peter Baker birds.

Michael Pace Nth Qld Michael has kept and bred budgerigars from a young age but has only taken breeding exhibition budgies seriously in recent years. e has had numerous birds on the national bench in a number of varieties & had his first win in 2013 in the class followed by a win in the Blue class in 2014 is stud consists of mainly s, innamons, cinnamons, s and Lutinos. Michael s aviary is based mainly on blood from lint Ault s stud with some ec & Brenda Gearing stock and also recent additions from Bob Smith and Mark hidel ammond Sth Qld Les and son Ryan and the family including all the Grandchildren are Open breeders. Les enjoys the fancy and particularly breeding quality budgerigars. The family has a small stud of budgerigars from the bloodlines of Alan Kent, Ken Dunk, Bob Smith, Gary Gazzard and Mark hidel. Les travels extensively sourcing quality budgerigars to improve his stud. The ammond has had a lot of recent success on the show bench winning many major awards. They have represented Sth Qld Zone at the national level. Ken Seagrott NSW Ken is a well-known successful breeder with many years in the fancy. The stud has represented NSW on the National level with, wing, rest & Recessive Pieds. In 2013 achieved a 2 nd place in Dark Eyed lear. 10 Allan Reid NSW Allan has a stud based on the finest English & German bloodlines. In 40 years of breeding & exhibiting Allan has taken many top awards including many grand champions. The most notable of these was his win at the BNSW annual show against 1500 birds. Troy olmes; SA After re-joining the hobby in 2005, Troy olmes has consistently had birds represented at the Nationals level for South Australia, with his first national win coming in 20 in the Green class.
