3 Rules of Auction 1 Each Person will be required to register prior to entering the auction room. Each Person will receive a bidder s number. The bidder s number will be required to purchase any lot / lots at auction and must be shown to the Auctioneer at the fall of the hammer. 2 Judging Sticks and Carry Cages will not be allowed into Auction Room. The Birds must not be interfered with or subjected to sticks, pens, or similar objects. SMOKING will not be permitted in the auction room at any time 3 All lots will be submitted in catalogue order; however if necessary the vendor reserves the right to make alterations, additions or deletions to the catalogue order. 4 All Conditions and warranties expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded and as all lots are open for inspection prior to the commencement of the sale, the same are sold with all faults, if any. Therefore, no compensation shall be made in respect of any faults or imperfection or error of description of any lots sold or otherwise. At the fall of the hammer each lot shall be at the purchaser s risk 5 At the fall of the hammer the highest bidder shall be the purchaser, and in the event of any disputes arising the lot in dispute shall be put up again and the auctioneer s decision will be final 6 The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or refuse any bid without having to state the reason or reasons thereof. 7 After the fall of the hammer no party will be allowed to retract his /her bid. 8 Telephone and online bidding will be available provided PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS & REGISTRATIONS have been made and completed, Payment arrangements must be confirmed prior to the auction 9 Payment for goods on the day shall be by CASH, MASTERCARD, VISA unless prior arrangements have been made. There will be 2.5% surcharge on CREDIT CARD purchases. Personal cheques will not be accepted on the day of the sale without prior arrangements. 10 Successful purchasers of lots will be required to take their purchases with them at the completion of the auction 11 If any successful bidder shall fail to pay for their purchases on the day the vendor or his/hers agents have the right to resell the lot in any manner they think proper. 12 Purchases may be collected at the completion of the auction. A receipt of purchase must be obtained from the cashier upon payment of the lot, then proceed to the allocated collection point with their carry cage and evidence of purchase. The purchase will be required to remove the bird or birds from the sale cage and transfer it or them to their own cage. The vendor, or his /her agents, the auctioneer or any staff will not be handling the birds. It is the sole responsibility of each purchaser to handle his/her own birds at collection. 4 The club is more than happy to assist interstate bidders in any way possible. For those wishing to attend the auction we are happy to provide information on local accommodation and provide directions on how to get to the auction venue. For those unable to attend we can assist with bidding. This can be done by setting a limit for any lots prior to the auction. We then have somebody bid on your behalf to that limit. Of course if the bird sells for an amount under your limit you only pay that amount. If the bird goes over your limit then obviously you miss out. Alternatively, we can setup telephone / online bidding for you before the day of the auction. You then have the ability to listen in on any of the lots you may be interested in and bid via the telephone or online. For any purchases made by people not able to attend the auction the club will supply a suitable freight box and then arrange transport to the airport for your birds, both of these at cost to the purchaser. The cost of freight and collection at the destination airport will however, be the responsibility of the purchaser. Payment needs to be arranged in advance but can be made by credit card, direct deposit into our bank account or by cheque (no birds to leave until cheques have cleared). IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INTERSTATE TRAVELERS Australian Air Express at Sydney airport closes at 3:00pm on Saturdays so we suggest that all interstate visitors that intend returning home with birds should have them at the Australian Air Express counter no later than 2:30pm (phone Australian Air Express on to make your own reservations). Birds must be booked in one and a half hours before the flight time. Alternatively, birds can be left with our carers along with a suitable travel cage and we will organise to freight the birds at your expense as soon as possible the following week. 5 Mark Breeders Profile Birdsville MH60 Budgerigars Mark lives in Dubbo-NSW and has been breeding and showing exhibition budgerigars for about 25 years, Serving on many committees over the years as Publicity Officer for the Budgerigar Society of NSW (BSNSW), Mid-State Budgerigar Club (MBC) Orana Avicultural Society (OAS) Clubs and starting and Admin in the following Facebook groups. Official BSNSW, Birdsville MH60 Budgerigars, Exhibition Budgerigar Soapbox, Exhibition Budgerigars OZ and Show Birds ONLY. Varieties kept include:- Normals, Lutinos, Albinos, Clearbodies, s, s, AOSV s, Double Factors s, AOSV s, s, Fallows, Dominate Pieds and Yellowfaces. He s had plenty of success at National level:- 5 National Wins,(Hens twice)(albino)(yellowface)(clearbody) 3 seconds, 4 thirds, 5 fourths with a total of 32 reps for NSW. Other highlights include Getting 8 birds away in 2015 Hobart making up 10% of the NSW team Mackay 4 birds away and placing 1 st, 2 x 2 nd and a 3 rd All top 3 Results. Fallow Line C Yellow Face If you are looking for a bird to increase the directional feather on your birds you will not go wrong with this fella. Another nephew to the national winning spangle who was arguably the best bird I ever bred 55 MH H This style of hen are the ones that breed my very best birds. Lovely width of face and feather direction an ideal stock hen for any breeder. Sister to Lots 62,121,129,138,156 Watson 56 MH C Son of the National Winning Yellow Face. If you are looking to develop this line of birds I would highly recommend purchasing this one. Blowy head with plenty of directional feather are attractive on this bird.

Bayliss 59 MH C Fallow Placed 2nd at the Mackay nationals and 2nd at the STCC show this is a wonderful example of a Fallow. I would consider this a must for anybody looking to improve their Fallows. Does have cyst on wing 60 MH C UBC who should develop further with time. 61 MH H Is flecked but is also a super bird. Used correctly you could breed anything from her. Good for the Albino and DF breeders 62 MH C I love the long body on this bird, combined with a fantastic face this bird catches the eye and will most definitely throw something special if mated the right way.
