3 Introduction Due to running my own business and a busy work schedule I have decided to reduce the amount of stock birds in my loft. I give you the opportunity to purchase some of my best foundation birds that I have kept over the past 40 years. These families consist of: R. Rayner Harrisons Wickham Murray Ray S. Moore K. Saggers (Smeulders Janssen) Over the years I have found by crossing these families of birds together have created birds that can take plenty of hard work and keep coming home in hard conditions. These birds have a strong constitution, they have not picked up any of the viruses that have hit Australia. Due to work commitments I didn t race for a few years. I still bred in those years whilst not racing so I didn t lose the bloodlines. I had no rings during some breeding seasons so I used whatever rings I had. This is why some birds are unrung. 4 References: Reference A: Rain Lover VRPU Blue Checker Hen This hen is a direct granddaughter of Bionic. Rain Lover is the dam of the 2009 Western Cup winner. She is a half-sister to Reference B. Reference B: VRPI Blue Bar Pied Cock This cock is a great grandson to Bionic with Brian Engelsman pigeons that were bred by the Iurato brothers. His dam was VRPU Blue Bar Hen. This Blue Bar Hen was leant to George Vella producing three Fed places over 500 and 600 miles which helped him win the VHA averages that season. This hen was the daughter of the pigeon he called the Rat which won a 600 mile Fed for him. I consider David Finerty to be one of the best distance fliers in Australia in his time.
