All entries in this department are subject to general rules of the Fair. Entries close Tuesday, July 23 (rules will be strictly enforced), and must be postmarked before midnight on that date to be accepted. Stock should be on the grounds after 8:00 A.M., Tuesday but before 8 A.M. Wednesday. Judging at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday. 2. No Shipped in rabbits will be accepted. 3. Earmark must appear on entry blank. 4. No substitutions, except in same class and sex. 5. The Knox County Fair Association will not be responsible for loss in case of fire or theft, accident or providential destruction. Every precaution will be taken to eliminate any danger or mistake in the show room and return of stock from show. 6. No breeding will be allowed in the show room. 7. All animals will be inspected on arrival and stock received in unsound condition will not be cooped. 8. Mail all entry fees and blanks in this class to Knox County Fair, P. O. Box 204, Knoxville, IL Make checks or money orders payable to Knox County Fair Association. Be sure to enclose $10.00 for exhibitor's pass. (Fair Rule) 9. The Knox County Fair presents their Rabbit Show on Wednesday, July 31 at 10:00 a.m. 10. Rabbits can be removed 6:00 p.m. Saturday, but must be picked up by 12:00 Noon, Sunday. 11. There must be five or more in breed to get "Best of Breed" and "Best Opposite Sex" money. 12. No refunds will be made. 13. We cannot open this show for cash premiums to breeds not listed herein, but will enter any other standard breeds for judging, and five ribbons for first place. 14. No exhibitor may collect more than two premiums in any one class. (Fair Rule). 15. Any exhibitor removing part or all of his or her exhibit before the official release time without written permission of the Show Superintendent and Fair Secretary will automatically forfeit any premium in this division, open or youth. 16. There will be a "Best of Show" in open awarded - $ A.O.C. classes are not eligible for legs unless winning Best of Breed or Best of Show. 18. Poultry will be dismissed at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, but must be picked up by 12:00 Noon, Sunday. Any exhibitor removing birds from the grounds and the exhibit area prior to the release time will not be paid for the premiums won. All entries must be accompanied by check for entry fees and exhibitor's pass. These entries and checks must be in the hands of the Secretary on Tuesday, July 23, SEVEN DAYS BEFORE THE OPENING OF THE FAIR, and there will be no deviation from this rule. Payment may be made by either check or cash. Entry fees must be paid in full and will in no case be returned, and no refund of entry fees will be made to non-winners. See further rules under RULES AND REGULATIONS. All fowls shown in this class must be purebred birds and owned by the exhibitor. Judging will be by comparison. American Standards of Perfection to govern. BIRDS WILL BE CARED FOR, FED AND WATERED BUT EACH EXHIBITOR MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN FEED. Feeder and waterer must be furnished by exhibitor.
